Thank you soooo much. I’m going to try this. 4 years out I think this should work since I have the remotes shown in your video. But i’ll change the battery in the Apple TV First. 😉
Hi im having an issue with using my Samsung tv universal smart tv remote to control the hopper box as of now it just controls volumes maybe it was in video and i missed it? Or if i can program the dish remote to control all of the samsung tv features? Just trying to limit having two remotes to use I feel like im pretty tech savy and cannot figure it out thanks
HI. I don't believe the Samsung remote will control the hopper box. You'll have to use the Dish remote for that. You can program the Dish remote to control the Samsung TV. Like you said since it's a smart TV it probably won't control some of the features of the TV. Since you have the original Samsung remote, you can "teach" the dish remote any features that don't work and just put those functions on a button that you're not using. I'm pretty sure I covered the teach/ learning process in the video.. I hope that helps.
So you can't control the Firestick directly. The Firestick remote actually works on RF technology. You can however control the Firestick through HDMI-CEC. If the Dish remote is working your TV and the arrow keys are navigating the menu in the TV, you should be able to control the Firestick as long as CEC is enabled..
rudy your vids rock i was wondering some thing about my troy bilt mower if the wheels only move when i lift the mower off the ground does that mean i need a new belt ? any help would be nice .thanks
HI... Thanks for the comment.. :-) It could mean that. Sometimes there's a cable adjustment that you might be able to tighten. If you don't see anything,.. take off the belt cover whether it be on the top side or underneath by the blade, and have someone squeeze the handle for the drive and see if the belt is really loose with the handle squeezed. If it is, and there's not a adjustment, then yea, a new belt should do the trick. Hope this helps... :-)
2:55 the ONE thing i wanted to know how to do. "we're not gonna do that". thanksssssss
Ok Thanks!
I was looking for this video for so long I'm glad I landed on yours
Thank you! I hope it helped... 😊

Excellent! I hope it works out for you perfect... 😀
Will this work with a 52.0 remote?
I think so, but don't quote me on that... 😊

I have a dish hopper, and I have a Samsung TV. I want to program the hopper remote to access the source to access the fire stick.
