i never used this perk. but i always came to the machine just to listen to this song. i miss the early and mid 2010s. those were the best years ever. nostalgia hits so hard listening to this.
@@anthonyrodriguez164 Mule Kick between BO1-BO3 had a really big risk and reward factor to it that scared off most players. You get a third gun, but the price is the most expensive price at the time for a perk (4000) and if you go down and lose the perk you lose the third gun with no way of getting it back. This was really punishing, especially if that third gun is a wonder weapon that you got from the box and you didn't have time to find another third gun. Plus, with the four perk limit throughout these games mostly everyone went with the original 4, especially with Double Tap 2.0. Some games like IW and WW2 zombies tried to make Mule Kick more appeal. IW Zombies had 5 perk slots and decreased the price of Mule Munchies (IW's version of Mule Kick) to 2000 points to make it more appealing, meanwhile WW2 made it a class mod that you can use to permanently have three weapon slots throughout a game, with no fear of losing your third weapon when downed. BO4 even tried to make Mule Kick more appealing by giving it the modifier slot ability to give you back your Mule Kick weapon when repurchased (So long as you got all 4 perk). Cold War made the perk the most appealing version (At least after all the attachment glitches were fixed), giving you a third weapon slot, granting you an extra piece of equipment when crafted, make it so that zombies can drop ammo clips when killed, slowly refill stowed weapon ammo from their reserve to be fully loaded when used again, gives you a 25% chance to keep non-retrievable equipment like grenades and monkey bombs when used, and lastly returning your Mule kick weapon when repurchased if you lose the perk when going down. Plus, Cold War's no perk limit and accumulated perk price made it more open for players to try the perk
@@goldentoparican788 why do they try so hard to make mule kick more useful? What they should do is make it give you a third weapon while also increasing your ammo stock pile
@@mayonnaise3959 The ammo stockpile increase is most likely not going to happen because ever since BO4 the extended magazine attachment does the job already. Using extended mags on a weapon also increases the gun's ammo stockpile to account for a larger ammo capacity, giving you not only a bigger magazine but also more ammo overall. Bandolier Bandit did exist in BO4 and this perk was good, especially with how much ammo it gives the Micro Mg. But when Cold War came around, the addition of the ammo crates so players can buy ammo for any gun for a fee on top of extended mags made them believe it's good enough, and it is.
