It's sad how much pricing has changed. My paycheck hasn't increased that much in the same amount of time, lol.

I accidentally walked in on a tasting at a liquor store and they poured me a sample of F and i think the flavors are better than C and that finish goes on and on.

Just had a sample of the new Camp Nelson F in a Turkey blind. The 2023 Russell's 13 is fantastic and beats it handily. The F was mostly sweet oak and brown sugars where as the 13 is blood orange, dank oak, caramel, nut and spice. Just layer upon layer that the overall younger Single Rickhouse cant match.

I can imagine that. I was offered this by my liquor dealer for $300, but I just couldn't get on board. Bourbon prices are out of control. Who do they think they are, Pappy?

@@user-hb9qv a lot of the high prices seem tied to the low availability of these special releases. Were these a wide release and still carrying that price tag, you can bet a lot of these would be sitting on the shelf once enough people try them and the word gets around and the hype gets demystified. They seem to produce juuuuust enough to ensure they sell out and then do it again next year.
That said...id probably buy a Pappy once in my life if given the chance at a reasonable price.

Yes for instance I just bought a Baker's 13. It's NOT a limited release like it says right on the top of the bottle in caps, with their million warehouses. They sent my liquor store 2 bottles, so they sold for 250 each. Then a week later they get 2 cases and now theyre MSRP. But in the case of BT high end products, that's not possible, as they are IN FACT limited.@@javieracosta3439

Man I got hosed. The liquor store I bought this at had it labeled as Camp Nelson C so I bought it for $300 all in online. Pick it up and it's Camp Nelson F. Couldn't find any reviews at the time so I stick with it. Now I'm stuck with a $300 meh bottle because I'm stupid. Oh well. Lesson learnt the hard way.
