Totally agreed I saw a lot of bad reviews this is my first time purchasing a Natasha palette I love it so much I used it so much and the huda retrograde I guess I love pastels.
Natasha first started doing her palettes because she was a makeup artist. She wanted to create looks for her classes and to teach the art form. I don’t know why, but I feel like the last few launches have had little to no depth in the color story and I stopped caring enough to buy them. I’m watching the video because I love you and I love your looks you do, but I won’t be purchasing from her anymore. Her bigger higher priced palettes ARE better. There’s depth in those shadows. Even in my Glam palette I needed to reach for Biba to get the depth I wanted. It’s almost like she now caters to the lowest common denominator of an audience who is scared of black and won’t offer us the depth we crave in a look. Thank you for all you do. She’s just not as special as she used to be.
I really read and listened to what you said. I do feel like the quality is hit or miss (still very useable, but varies palette to palette). What I've seen for quite a while is her colors look on the skin versus in the palette. The carnival one and this one are like themes for fun to me. I'd rarely if ever use them, but I've seem others really enjoy them. The last one I wanted and didn't purchase due to cost was the Triochrome. I'm still am hoping for a sale, because I really like the color scheme. Oddly, Glam was her best none pricey palette and I could use it as is with rarely an outside shadow added. I agree that since she's what I consider the queen of the smoky and Cleopatra eye looks, her palettes with rich deeper pigments help achieve this. But since I'm getting older, I have to tone down those looks that age me. For fun or special occasions, I still do them, but her Glam palette helps me achieve a more modern classic look.
I purchased this palette when it was released and recreated one of the looks from her videos using mainly the blue shades which i didn't think I would like but it's one of my favorite eye looks right now. I love how you brought in white liner for the last look. It really elevates the shades you choose. I need to get some white liner in my life!

Fav look is the third one-60's esque- so love it! I was so into this palette when I received it. I'm an nc30 color skin, and I feel like the pigmentation was more there for the cream to powder shadows, but for me the shades I've used so far have performed well!
I was just in Tennessee in April for my birthday at pigeon forge and stayed at a cabin and thought of you. I hope you don't think I'm weird but a week before my trip I had a dream I was at a party and all of a sudden Mel was there and there was a bright light all over her and she was smiling and happy and was talking to someone but all around her was a bright light. I never spoke because I couldn't and then she was gone. It was so strange. I wish I could've met her other than our chats on RUclips comments but I'm thankful to have that interaction with her.

Love your lewks!!! I will probably use a companion pallet for the outer corner. Love the second look though. I love to do matte looks in the summer when you feel like you are melting. I have a light skin tone, so it will be easier for me. I do like pastels more than rainbow pallets, so skipped Circo Loco. Your artistry is amazing as usual👀🧑🏽🎨🎨
💜💜💜💜✨I’ve found I combine this with my Viseart mattes Milieu and the OG matte 01 . This way I get my depth. But to be honest I also use those with the glam palette. Other times I want just a lil simple sparkle I throw one of those mattes and a lil shimmer and I’m out the door. So I do like that about this palette. sometimes I have to think about a look before but that’s what I wanted something to spark some creativity or get me to use it with other palettes so they all get some use. I haven’t tried combining it with Lila yet or retro that I do have too so I do want to try that next.
Totally agree with your assessment. It's a nice palette but I use my more pigmented pastel eye shadows along with this one. Love the pretty looks you did especially the second look!
I loved loved loved this beautiful and very honest video dear Kelsee, and wow you look so beautiful!!!!!🤩🤩🤩🤩 I was saying when this came, i was born in 1970, had my teenage time in the 80's Kels, not gonna buy this, an 80's repetition, as i am 51 years now. But i did. When Cult Beauty had a 25 pct off quite a while ago already i bought it. And i am light to medium, khaki green eyes so you may say i'm crazy🤣🤣But when not using to much colours, but staying in the same colour family, that works for me. And actually quite nice! Is this for always? No, but going to a beach club for some dinner, nice! But i can imagine that you can have trouble with things to cool toned, i already have that, and i have a sort of mixture with some warm and mainly cool tones, but khaki green eyes. So these palette, this size, i am also not overwhelmed, not only the quality. The glam palette everybody wants, but on my eyes, i must not choose the coolest tones. The bronze palette however, can be to warm sometimes, but much better! The love of my life from ND: the big 28 green/brown palette, her first work, simple. But when talking about your eyes: those beautiful eyes can handle the entire rainbow, and any, any palette you can make work! Also palettes that i think no no no, you make them work, you're such a talented makeup artist!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for the beautiful video, and what a look you made!!! I absolutely adore a pastel look, but this palette seemed like a lot of work. I always wished I got my hands on that pastel palette KVD palette back in the day. That seemed to be bomb! What's your favorite pastel palette?
I have KVD's pastel Goth palette but I couldn't do too much with it honestly. I sometimes incorporate it with other pastel palettes. For me Glamlite's Ice Cream palette is a good pastel for us deeper skin tones.
Rarely would I use this palette. I'm older, over 50 and though lighter, I just can't see using most of the colors. It would always be for inner corners or under the brow. Since ND has a tendency to never have a suitable light color in her palettes for those areas, perhaps this one is like her all-time inner corner and under the brow palette. LOL!

I live the colors, but how do you prevent eyeliners under eyes from running. That is one of my dilemmas right now🙁
