Watching this in Fall of 2022 and the jacket, unaltered is what the style is....so it's great that you can just take the pins and elastic off and have something that is totally on trend!

Hi, I’m so sorry for the late response. Yes it will. Sequins fabric typically have hidden spaces between each bead so make sure that when you grab the fabric you are sticking the pin in between those spaces cos you can’t actually stick through the sequins bead. I hope this helps
