Kittydori Traveler's Notebook Junk Journals Featuring Sewing Pattern Catalog Ephemera Folders!

- A new feature I added to my last kittydori traveler's notebook junk journal collection was a folder page made from a sewing pattern counter catalog page to hold ephemera!
I'm thinking about creating more of these folders to stuff with ephemera and selling as little ephemera kits! Please let me know in the comments below if that is something you would like me to offer! I appreciate your feedback!!

When I was a little girl my Mother worked in a fabric store and she would bring the old pattern books home and my sister and I would cut the models out and play paper dolls. It was so much fun. We would make furniture out of shoe boxes and have our own houses with different rooms set up and we played like this for days on end. I would be interested in some of the ephemera packs. TFS

I adore the pattern folders in the middle! When I was about 10 years old, a local fabric shop was closing, they knew how much I adored the catalogs, and sent me home with one. I cherished that book and looked at it until the pages were in tatters!

I def thing estate sales/yard sales are the ideal place to get vintage ephemera! Ebay/Etsy prices are way higher. Of course, the time spent at sales is the trade off. I suggest recruiting your bargain shopping friends! 😊
Yes, estate sales would be a better source, but the time thing is the issue! If I was guaranteed to find ephemera at every sale, maybe I'd try to go to more! I need to get more bargain shopping friends!! 🤣💕🤗💕💕💕

Oh I love the colours. Are the covers fabric or are they the original paper envelopes. If originals the covers are in perfect condition, they are just beautiful. Next time can you linger longer on the pompous lol
Thank you so much, Carolyn!! The covers are the original envelopes and they are often in quite poor condition, so I have to painstakingly give them some TLC to make them usable and sturdy! It takes a lot of time (which is one reason my kittydori journals are not cheap! 😉), but I love doing it! Sometimes I have envelopes in good condition and they cost me more up front (hence, the pricing there, too! 😀). I sometimes wonder if I'm going too fast through the flip-throughs!
