Build Notes: Put the GPS bar on that, move the phone up to the dash area. Most of us are using our phones map/gps and having the map feed closer to eye line is great. Pop that phone charger up there while your at it. Move up front sprocket one size, down the rear sprocket one size, install the tek cam; brings er' to life.
They are great bikes, imo they are very comfortable and confidence inspiring. I like the things that you folks have added on. my only criticism is that I would not call the power "very adequate." It's great for putting around off road and up to about 50 on the road. They are very easy to add on a couple of upgrades that will help it cruise around 70. It would be really nice if it was a 500 with a 6-speed transmission. There's a reason you don't see a lot of these for sale used. Most people really like the bike, I know I do!
A handlebar brace and foot-peg replacement is also useful if you want to go a bit off-road. Also, replace the standard tyres when the stock ones wear out. Ride safe, love and peace.
Saw one in person for the first time i fell in love im looking at everything i can about these they seem awesome ive never owned a motorcycle but if i were to get one this would absolutely be it
Do you buy cars ? I have a 1994 Mustang 97% rust free with a built motor . Runs strong has a Cobra intake with an N95 manifold short shift with dual fan racing radiator frame welded runs great does need a little work but not much . Plus, I just bought a brand new 22 left over 411 . Pick it up tomorrow...... Forged pistons and rods . 9:11gearing . Had 10 but it was to much .
Brian, thanks for your comment. We do buy select vehicles. Please email your vehicle information, including the VIN, to sales@alphacars.com and we can discuss this possible purchase with you.
Great upgrades. I'd like that bash-plate upgraded and black, and the oil cover black also. Personal preference though. The addition of the BarkBusters is spot on. Good work!
If you plan to drive the bike alot on the freeway, would the bike have too little torque, if you increased the rear sprocket teeth or otherwise increased the gear-ratio?
We are unsure what effects changing the gearing would have on accelerating at highway speeds, but the Himalayans cruise along very nicely at our local highway speed limits, 55-65mph!
@@AlphaCars Nice, unfortunately my local highway speeds are 80mph, so I would feel a bit unsafe driving it here, being that the relative speed of everything around me would be 20mph faster than me.
Ian is a very knowledgable presenter. Professional and straight to the point.
Thanks for the kind words!

The real question is whats your pricing like on one outfitted this way?
When are the fork lights available? I see they are currently in pre-order.. found my new US accessories website. Thanks!
Hi Jason! We are just finishing up a batch of new fork light kits, they will be available in 2-3 days! We appreciate your business!

How much does it cost with all the accessories?

Hi! Is the USB charging standard on the '23 model?
Hey! Thanks for the question! Unfortunately, no standard USB charging port on the 2023 Himalayans in the US.
@@AlphaCars thanks!

Amazing bike.
This is the bike for me!
What are the actual seat height of the bike?
31.5 inches if I remember right. You can look up the specs easy enough. I have a 30 inch inseam and can flat foot in sneakers.
@@jhenrichs72 I appreciate it 👍🏿

Дуже хочу Гімалай Ровал, висилайте один белий колір . Україна.
24 hp? No!
Lightweight 😂 and what’s with the lousy five speed box. Better of with a DR650 or XR650
