    Learn how to create this gorgeous quilt block from Anita Goodesign called Quarter Turn Quilt. It's fantastic!

  • @brendamiller797
    @brendamiller797 5 лет назад +5

    This quilt block is amazing! And to be perfectly honest? I like that you’re human and do t necessarily “edit” out any boo boo’s or mishaps that you work through it and explain it every step of the way. That to me makes a great learning tool because we all get turned backwards and sometimes feel stuck! Lol. Thanks so much for all the time you put into this for all of us out here🥰

    I watched the video to the end finally. I thought the fabric was the design. DUH!!!! The colors of thread are gorgeous. Your choice is beautiful. As I commented earlier I have trouble with matching fabric and most times thread colors. Sometimes I get my husband to help out LOL or I match the suggested one in the design.Truly love these videos. You've opened so many doors for me now.On to the next project.

      I sometimes have the same issues with fabric. My solution? Layer cakes and fat quarters that are all in a bundle. for this set, I purchased the layer cake and yardage of the fabric. It's easy and gorgeous.

    Thank you for such a clear way of showing the various processes you take as you go through the design. ( I do love the way Anita Goodesign designs turn out, especially this one.) I particularly like the way you keep in your 'boo boos' because you always show the way you can correct them- saves time and waste - and alot of grinding of teeth! The quilt block looks amazing and the colours are brilliant. If my machine were to stitch out as fast as your multi needle I should go boss-eyed; I prefer a more 'ladylike' speed but then again I do not run a business!

    • @OMLembroidery
      @OMLembroidery  5 лет назад

      If I make a mistake I always keep it in the videos. Part of learning is making mistakes - and so many videos out there just show "easy perfection" and to me are not realistic. Boo Boos happen, and I will always leave them in

      Hi 😊 I think it’s just a seamless line, as apposed to a satin stitch or running stitch border. Looks different. 😀✌🏽

    ok listen to this. The Husqvarna large hoop which is 360x260 makes the 8 inch square (with the a at the end). To find the best use of fabric, print out the 10 inch square (or the aaa ending) and use that template to cut out your fabric. This uses the correct shape while retaining enough fabric to fold. Don't forget to add a half and inch or more on the outside edges for salvage. cuts easier.
