technically, you could go infinite with only these minions in your deck: quest reward, brann and banker/bandage wrapper (4 cost 4/4, bc: discover your minion that died and shuffle it in your deck). it only works on paper tho. if you match up with any opponent that plays cards, you will lose

@@different_stuff it's not fun to play because they are barely playable, and they are barely playable because of the way Hearthstone and its meta game are made.

I'm the kind of player who plays these types of decks, right from the start, even if they have a minimal winrate.
Still it wouldn't be to play it all the time, just to achieve archivement.
With the current archives that are pure grind I had to play cards that are very bad and that do not even appear in the meta, that was tedious, because it was not about creating an unusual situation, just playing the same card many times.
Here an archivement could be "invoke a
Silver Hand Recruit of 10 Attack or higher ".
It's fun to build a deck specifically to achieve that achievement.

But that is not how the archivements have to be, in any other game the archivements require special, exceptional situations that require the player's ingenuity to complete them, and that when completing them feels gratifying to be able to achieve that achievement.
The type of archivements like "play 200 this card" or "atack 150 times with your hero", etc, are boring, they don't feel like an archivement, they don't feel like something that few players ever achieved and can boast about.
It's not fun to complete them either, they just complete on their own eventually if you play long enough, it feels tedious
But if you are an archivement hunter (like me) you will look for challenges.
I say the same thing again, if an archivement involves invoking a 10/10 Silver Recruit Hand is not supposed to mean that you have to play that deck for an entire meta, it means that you make a special deck around that archivement to complete it, and for that you have to think of ingenious ways to achieve it depending on the resources you have. In fact something like that can be achieved even if you dont do what Mark did.
And just because they are a challenge doesn't mean they have to be ridiculously difficult, just a fair challenge.
Archivements like "play 100 X card", they don't feel like an archivement, they feel like a daily quest, nothing special. They are not well design from a playable challenge / reward point of view for the player.
Like Rokara this a good target for brann Zola as far as quest rewards go. Arguably guff as well with the solar eclipse mark of the spikeshell combo

I usually have my Silverhand Recruits be 15/13s with Divine Shield.

The issue is that that many 7/7s is already too much for opponents to deal with, so they can't clear your board enough to get that truly ginormous dude
even so, that priest was playing WAY less removal than priests usually do
Nah, his opponent was playing a pretty bad deck. Even a c'thun deck should have a lot more removal. Most priest decks would have been able to at least drop enough minion stats for him to trade off his board, to say nothing of just clearing it entirely.

What was your win rate with this deck? It seems really good
It's not, it's fun but good i don't think
This deck is actually pretty terrible, from the perspective of trying to win. His opponent in this video was also playing a fairly bad deck, and basically gave up partway through the match.
This deck is very slow, and can easily be shut down by aggro. It also lacks any disruption, so any combo deck will just kill you well before your recruits are a real threat.
In theory, it would do ok versus a tempo deck, and might last long enough for the button to produce enough value each turn to win, but even then, you're just not going to have enough turns to get them past 7/7, would be my guess.
The deck would probably need to be built differently to be able to compete on ladder properly. Should be fun, if you've git the cards already feel free to mess around with it. :)

Dude that priest was playing Faery Dragon, it safe to say he had no cards that weren't from the C'thun Era, I dont even know how that is possible considering younare given free packs in every expansion. Maybe he was role playing c'thun? 🤷♂️
