    note-------------------
At measure 35, my musescore wasn't saving the ossia I put there. Each 16th note in that section can alternatively be played as two 32nd notes (listen to the original song and do the violin thingie).

From Made in Abyss. One of my favorite songs in the soundtrack and it didn't end up being used in the show...
I've decided to make it a goal to do a medley containing most of the Made in Abyss soundtrack (vols. 1 and 2) for piano. I'll be uploading it in little bits as I go, but when I finish I'll squish it all together in a giant 2.5-hour score!!
yeah this is going to take a while

Hello friend, greetings from Mexico. This song seems spectacular to me. I am a pianist and I tried to play this song, but it really is more complicated than it appears. I love when in the middle of the piece, this clearly related to Reg. I really appreciate your work, keep it up. I have the hope to listen this theme in the anime.

If you go the the Musescore link in the description, the sheet music is a bit easier at those big two-handed jumps. Unfortunately a couple songs from the soundtrack didn't get used in the anime, and this is one of them...

yo, this is so sweet!!! I'm so happy someone transposed this, and you did a great job. I'm a beginner piano player but it feels epic to hammer out these chords. I listen to MIA OST Vol 1 all the time, I tried Vol 2 but it felt like recycled/less good material, maybe I need to give it another shot.

Glad you enjoyed it! I had the exact same thoughts about Vol 2 the first time I listened to it, because it seemed more abstract and less memorable. BUT the more times I listened to it, the more I started to pick up on the themes that appear in many different forms throughout. A big part of the difference between the two soundtracks is that Vol 1 was written, for the most part, without necessarily assigning songs to scenes; Kevin just made songs that he thought sounded good and then the directors put them in the anime. Vol 2 was written completely "to picture", so each song had a specific emotion or piece of the story it had to convey, hence them being a little more abstract or ambient vs having easily recognizable themes. The more you listen for them, though, the more you see that these themes actually are there, but they're more woven in, if that makes sense? Sorry for the long reply, but as I see you are a fellow musician who has the same appreciation for the MIA ost as me, I think it's worth explaining why I love vol 2 (which do I like better? who knows ;)
