Its been almost 4 years since My X and seperated, and things are going great. We definitely have challenges here and there, but for the most part the kids are doing well.

I didn't want to give up because I also love farm games, but not all those ones like Farmville and how they are set up. I found this one in a search and bought if for my PC after reading about it and seeing how it really is like a real farm with such beautiful graphics and so many options. I haven't had the other versions of the game, and watching you is definitely helping. 20 minutes into your video and I'm happy to see the North American map features tractors/equipment from North America. That bugged me about '15', that there wasn't enough domestic machinery without mods which I never played with. Looks good, it's definitely on my Christmas list.
LOL I had a few other thoughts about the game after watchin' the rest of the video but I can't think of them at the moment. A single dad with 6 kids? Wow that's gotta keep ya on your toes, although you seem to handle it well. I'm curious and you can say it's none of my business but how'd you end up single with 6 kids? Love your videos, I've watched a number of your '15' gameplay vids and your tutorials were very helpful. I tried the silage farming but got bored with it so I went back to my diversified farm and with some perseverance maybe some good luck I've been quite successful at it.
Keith Brettell Haha - I totally get the silage boredom thing - So my soon to be X-wife (we have our court date on the 30th Nov) left me and the kids for someone else. Recently she is starting to come around again and actually spend time with her kids (she takes them for 2-3 days a week now), but for the last 2 years she basically abandoned them with me. I am ok with it though, because she obviously has stability and substance abuse issues, so I don't mind have the kids most of the time. I could really use a maid though, lol.

To be honest, I do not care for children. But. Your content was so good, so it made up for the background noise. I've watched several big RUclipsrs doing videos on this game, but you where actually right up there in the top. You just earned a new subscriber. I like that you do a lot of "in cab" view, and that you did not spam the helpers in the beginning. You also drive in a more realistic way, not speeding through everything, following the roads and such. Keep it up!

Amen to that - and on top of that, aside from the messes, they are really good kids. Like everywhere I take them I get compliments on how well behaved they are - I would love to take credit but my X-wife did a great job raising them until she bugged out.

finall saw a harvester like the starter one. drover from CLE to the middle of indiana a month ago. got to see alot of farmland on the way and some (what looked like) massive water sprayers (or fertilizer sprayers)! :D was really neat!
I grew up on big farm, drove combines, carts, semis, tractors, sprayers. This game looks pretty realistic. I dont miss the work. But the aspect of it is fun def want to play the game.
Just an awesome tip. I almost never get sick, and used to take raw organic food based vitamins. Now I quit that and drink raw organic local farm milk, along with distilled water to detox all the garbage. We're about to start local also buying organic chickens. For me it's $20 per 6-7 lb chicken and worth it. I laughed at that price a few years ago and regret it. I don't mind eating out and spending $$ for garbage, so it's not that much for what you get. Those are the main tips, and there are many others, like replacing butter with organic non gmo coconut oil. Much more if you're interested but the point is when I hear someone hacking it is so foreign to me now and I think, if people only knew they don't have to be sick.

PREMIUM EDITION is $24 from $75 so... Yeah i just had to do it.... The normal base game is like $13 and season pass os $16 so premium was a no brainer.. Goldcrest here i come! Hi Jeremy - yeah - John Deere won't allow them to use their brand, so that will not happen, except for mod tractors (there are already some out there but no good quality). Glad to have you as part of my channel!

I have and i have some problems with some of them and if i can fix them because i really love old vintage tractors and harvesters as an owner some of them Like Steyr8080Turbi Steyr768 Steyr760 And a harvester Deutch Fahr1322 and my newest one is Steyr Profi but i like to play the game like that starting with old ones and after hard work come to newest one tractors and Harvesters and tools too
@@kingarthursims the problems is the followings on some tractors or harvesters when i buy them i start lagging and when i drive them too.. i dont know if it is my pc problem or the mos causing it.. but i use some mods and i dont have any problem..and its kinda sad because some of my favorites tractors i cant play them
@@kingarthursims also one tip for your gameplay and knowledge..when you harvesting a field like in the video you should make two turns on the field or 3 even 4 if the field is too big and then cut it in half then you have two peaces and turn around one peace and then the seccond that way your havervester never stops only if neccesary..because in Harvesting everything is Time thats it dude thanks for your reply 😁
I do believe that the Sowing Machine you get on the new map also does fertilizing, cause it fills up both with fertilizer and seeds, and when looking on the detail maps you can see if a field has been fertilized or not, and after sowing with that sowing machine, it does say its already been fertilized. I think I will be testing that out today :)

Don't know if you talk politics or not (or how you voted), but knowing you are from Ohio, I have to say thank you at least to your state for helping to Make America Great Again! I'm on Xbox One as I mentioned to you in the past and will be getting this game closer to the holidays. Usually they have huge sales the last three weeks of the year and first of the next. I'm willing to wait because the game is $50 and the season pass for the DLC's is $35. THANK GOD Microsoft is allowing mods for many games and they announced this would be one. I'm just hoping it's as easy to get as they were for games like Fall Out where basically anything on PC was available for the console.

You can sell the straw use the small pickup cart. It's not much but it's better than nothing. Have you found any gold nuggets yet? If not I know there is one in the chicken area you can find it next to the chicken coop. I don't have the patience to find them all.

I want to get farm sim 17 but my dad wont get it on steam yes i'm a kid but i'm not like Seth I would really appreciate a copy of the game either from you by winning the copy or get it on steam from my dad.
I knew you would love the game. There really is so much new and improved in it over FS15 regardless of what other people say. I have been playing it too and I don't much care for the aging sytem in the game. However my biggest gripe is the stupid slot system on Xbox One and PS4. Personally I haven't hit it yet but people are saying it caps you currently at 50-60 items. Now I don't know if the system is going to stay, it may just be a trial thing, but if it does, it's kind of annoying.
Arthur Chapman I think it is only on the consoles, which sucks. Though at the moment there is a big that limits equipment to 50 pieces, but there is a slot limit of 500, how much equipment you can get with that I don't know. Either was it stinks.

I know - I was hoping to have it up early today but I had a rendering issue, followed by an uploading issues which all led to hours of wasted time until I got both to work right. It was a fight, let me tell you.
hehe definitely - I actually have them full time right now. Dumb Dumb is having person issues with the "man of her dreams" and so my kids are staying with me 100 percent of the time while she works her stupid issues out.
I ordered the game, but didn't pay for fast delivery, so it will be a few more days. But, that gives me a chance to finish my last apple orchard experiment on Farm Expert before I retire that game. It does look great. I can hardly wait. I think the mission system should be a much more realistic way to earn extra money than the silage.
Hey Arthur i noticed they fixed the issue i mentioned on 15 with the vander rapid 600s missing spots with the AI now in 17 it covers 100% now from what i can tell. :) But am i the only one that thinks 2k15 has better dirt texture and dirt gfx then 2k17? I don't like how the ground looks when i am cultivating or seeding the ground always looks dark brown and bla whether cultivated or seeded the ground looks about the same where as in 2k15 the dirt looks more realistic being torn up with cultivator and when you have seeded you can definitely tell it has been seeded as the texture and color of the ground is different. I thought it was just the default settings so i went into settings and put everything on ultra high and still see no difference. Also i am not a huge fan of the new fertilizer system having to buy new pallets and then transporting them home from shop using loader and semi truck+trailer ( That's how i did it anyway once i ran out ) but it is just tedious and a pain in the ass imo what do you guys think?
Haha - I actually really like having to buy seed - I will say this - on Sosnovka the old seed bags and fetilzer tank are still on the farm so you don't have to keep buying more. I would bet someone will make a placeable seed and fertilizer station so you don't have to truck it.
Could you tell me why when I harvest my crops and fertilize them immediately after it doesn’t turn blue on the map overview as if I’m not doing any fertilizing at. I have fertilizer and the appropriate machine. It spits out the fertilizer but my map overview doesn’t update to a blue color. I’m using the fertilizer with the yellow lid. Can’t remember what it’s called. Oh and great videos man!
Arthur Chapman Hey Arthur, just wanted to say I'm really happy to see you playing fs17, I use to listen to you a lot when I played fs15. I noticed that you are now a single dad, if it's not too personal of a question what happened to your wife? I remember hearing her in your videos back in fs15.
The long and short of it - As a Christian we call it backsliding - she started smoking pot and drinking about 2 years ago (was something she struggled with on and off over the years). Last April she admitted to having an affair (which is still ongoing), which was not the first. There is a breaking point where a person just can't take anymore - so I told her to get out. We officially divorced in November. She is now living on her own about 20 minutes away, and has the kids 2-3 days a week. God help her, and help me to forgive, because I definitely haven't yet.

+Brian King It skips a year for pc/ps4/xbox so you won't get 2018 it would be 2019 for the next version, For android/ios it is every off year from that so you can get FS 2016 now and 2018 next year for your mobile devices. :)
They really did a great job on the radio. They made the audio more bassy, but at the same time they muffled the loud bass sound. If you didn't understand that. It basically sounds like you're playing music from your car speakers instead of just a mp3 file in the background. Too bad you cant use it in videos.
If you have a PS4, then I would say PS4 as the versions are almost identical and you can now get mods. Then you will have the really nice graphics too.

finall saw a harvester like the starter one. drover from CLE to the middle of indiana a month ago. got to see alot of farmland on the way and some (what looked like) massive water sprayers (or fertilizer sprayers)! :D was really neat!
I love driving through the country in the fall when all the machinery is out working.
I grew up on big farm, drove combines, carts, semis, tractors, sprayers. This game looks pretty realistic. I dont miss the work. But the aspect of it is fun def want to play the game.
I absolutely love it (obviously, yuk yuk).
Just an awesome tip. I almost never get sick, and used to take raw organic food based vitamins. Now I quit that and drink raw organic local farm milk, along with distilled water to detox all the garbage. We're about to start local also buying organic chickens. For me it's $20 per 6-7 lb chicken and worth it. I laughed at that price a few years ago and regret it. I don't mind eating out and spending $$ for garbage, so it's not that much for what you get. Those are the main tips, and there are many others, like replacing butter with organic non gmo coconut oil. Much more if you're interested but the point is when I hear someone hacking it is so foreign to me now and I think, if people only knew they don't have to be sick.
So go get some real farm food, not just in the game lol
I hate being sick - I wish I could afford doing nat foods - with six kids its way out of my budget.

Well here i am again.. Now i will be watching your FS17 vids.. Remember i was on FS15 and just gonna wait for FS19 well as of today HUGE SALE over on the XBOX store.. PREMIUM EDITION is $24 from $75 so... Yeah i just had to do it.... The normal base game is like $13 and season pass os $16 so premium was a no brainer..

Hi Jeremy - yeah - John Deere won't allow them to use their brand, so that will not happen, except for mod tractors (there are already some out there but no good quality). Glad to have you as part of my channel!

I have and i have some problems with some of them and if i can fix them because i really love old vintage tractors and harvesters as an owner some of them Like Steyr8080Turbi Steyr768 Steyr760 And a harvester Deutch Fahr1322 and my newest one is Steyr Profi but i like to play the game like that starting with old ones and after hard work come to newest one tractors and Harvesters and tools too
@@kingarthursims the problems is the followings on some tractors or harvesters when i buy them i start lagging and when i drive them too.. i dont know if it is my pc problem or the mos causing it.. but i use some mods and i dont have any problem..and its kinda sad because some of my favorites tractors i cant play them
@@kingarthursims also one tip for your gameplay and knowledge..when you harvesting a field like in the video you should make two turns on the field or 3 even 4 if the field is too big and then cut it in half then you have two peaces and turn around one peace and then the seccond that way your havervester never stops only if neccesary..because in Harvesting everything is Time thats it dude thanks for your reply 😁
I do believe that the Sowing Machine you get on the new map also does fertilizing, cause it fills up both with fertilizer and seeds, and when looking on the detail maps you can see if a field has been fertilized or not, and after sowing with that sowing machine, it does say its already been fertilized. I think I will be testing that out today :)
You are correct - the GP seeder also does your first stage fertilizer. Pretty cool stuff.

I'm on Xbox One as I mentioned to you in the past and will be getting this game closer to the holidays. Usually they have huge sales the last three weeks of the year and first of the next. I'm willing to wait because the game is $50 and the season pass for the DLC's is $35. THANK GOD Microsoft is allowing mods for many games and they announced this would be one. I'm just hoping it's as easy to get as they were for games like Fall Out where basically anything on PC was available for the console.

Have you found any gold nuggets yet? If not I know there is one in the chicken area you can find it next to the chicken coop. I don't have the patience to find them all.

I knew you would love the game. There really is so much new and improved in it over FS15 regardless of what other people say. I have been playing it too and I don't much care for the aging sytem in the game. However my biggest gripe is the stupid slot system on Xbox One and PS4. Personally I haven't hit it yet but people are saying it caps you currently at 50-60 items. Now I don't know if the system is going to stay, it may just be a trial thing, but if it does, it's kind of annoying.

I think it is only on the consoles, which sucks. Though at the moment there is a big that limits equipment to 50 pieces, but there is a slot limit of 500, how much equipment you can get with that I don't know. Either was it stinks.

I ordered the game, but didn't pay for fast delivery, so it will be a few more days. But, that gives me a chance to finish my last apple orchard experiment on Farm Expert before I retire that game. It does look great. I can hardly wait. I think the mission system should be a much more realistic way to earn extra money than the silage.
Yup - and its a good way to earn money, but requires a lot of work. Its no longer just handed to you.

There are 3. Both of the ones from FS15 returned as well as the 9 series is new.

Hey Arthur i noticed they fixed the issue i mentioned on 15 with the vander rapid 600s missing spots with the AI now in 17 it covers 100% now from what i can tell. :) But am i the only one that thinks 2k15 has better dirt texture and dirt gfx then 2k17? I don't like how the ground looks when i am cultivating or seeding the ground always looks dark brown and bla whether cultivated or seeded the ground looks about the same where as in 2k15 the dirt looks more realistic being torn up with cultivator and when you have seeded you can definitely tell it has been seeded as the texture and color of the ground is different. I thought it was just the default settings so i went into settings and put everything on ultra high and still see no difference.
Also i am not a huge fan of the new fertilizer system having to buy new pallets and then transporting them home from shop using loader and semi truck+trailer ( That's how i did it anyway once i ran out ) but it is just tedious and a pain in the ass imo what do you guys think?
Haha - I actually really like having to buy seed - I will say this - on Sosnovka the old seed bags and fetilzer tank are still on the farm so you don't have to keep buying more. I would bet someone will make a placeable seed and fertilizer station so you don't have to truck it.
Could you tell me why when I harvest my crops and fertilize them immediately after it doesn’t turn blue on the map overview as if I’m not doing any fertilizing at. I have fertilizer and the appropriate machine. It spits out the fertilizer but my map overview doesn’t update to a blue color. I’m using the fertilizer with the yellow lid. Can’t remember what it’s called.

Arthur Chapman Hey Arthur, just wanted to say I'm really happy to see you playing fs17, I use to listen to you a lot when I played fs15. I noticed that you are now a single dad, if it's not too personal of a question what happened to your wife? I remember hearing her in your videos back in fs15.
The long and short of it - As a Christian we call it backsliding - she started smoking pot and drinking about 2 years ago (was something she struggled with on and off over the years). Last April she admitted to having an affair (which is still ongoing), which was not the first. There is a breaking point where a person just can't take anymore - so I told her to get out. We officially divorced in November. She is now living on her own about 20 minutes away, and has the kids 2-3 days a week. God help her, and help me to forgive, because I definitely haven't yet.

+Brian King It skips a year for pc/ps4/xbox so you won't get 2018 it would be 2019 for the next version, For android/ios it is every off year from that so you can get FS 2016 now and 2018 next year for your mobile devices. :)

They really did a great job on the radio. They made the audio more bassy, but at the same time they muffled the loud bass sound. If you didn't understand that. It basically sounds like you're playing music from your car speakers instead of just a mp3 file in the background. Too bad you cant use it in videos.

If you have a PS4, then I would say PS4 as the versions are almost identical and you can now get mods. Then you will have the really nice graphics too.

Depending on your country, the prices change, but here in the US most cards that are around $130 are plenty capable of playing farm sim well.
