Some tips early on (or I guess you can ignore this if you want to figure it out for yourself): 1) Don't horde your potions. They drop regularly on Day 1 and 2 so just use them to get yourself out of a sticky situation or remain high HP. Once you're comfortable with not relying on potions, you can just sell them for extra gold. 2) Combo kills (killing multiple enemies in a single turn) are worth more than killing enemies 1 at a time. 3) Don't be in a rush to kill enemies on sight. Enemies act as great meatshields against ranged/dashing enemies. Take your time setting up the perfect action queue that will eliminate several enemies at once while also preventing you from getting hit by ranged attacks. Also when there are only 1 or 2 enemies left on the stage, you can see when the next wave of enemies will spawn when the wave counter starts flashing red. Use this info to start queuing your actions for another set of combo kills as soon as the new wave spawns. 4) Don't forget your special ability! Depending on your character's special ability and current set of cards, you may want to position yourself close or far from certain enemies to avoid their otherwise unavoidable attacks with a swap or some other movement card.
I bought this game on a whim when it released and have been addicted to it ever since. The devs really need to release this on mobile so I can be addicted while I'm outside as well. 😂

Especially health potions. If you're missing 3+ health and don't have a healing skill, just use one to make room for other consumables.
