Recently came across this when searching for a way of doing Jean Michel Jarre style arppegiator bass lines. This is genius, and for a new user like me, fairly easy to use. Thank you. I'm really surprised that this is free to use

This is a great plugin. It's the most intuitive arpeggiator I've seen. I got it working in Ableton no problem.
This is infinitely better because you can play 7th, 5th, and 6th chords and many other variations. I think it can be used for more than just electronic dance music. Well done and great job!
I'm looking at Blue Arp for the first time. When I first saw this thing, I thought it looked complicated, but it's not. I absolutely love the interface/layout. Everything is laid out in front of you and no current settings are hidden behind menus. It reminds me of software design from back in the days of the Comodore Amiga - programs like Sound Tracker. This tool is so thoughtfully made. I love it.
Thanks for the supportive words. Yeah, I sometimes get complains about the complexity of the interface and 'text entries all over the place', but it is all in front of you as you mentioned. It just takes some time to get used to, as any software in the old days.
@@graywolf2004ru it only took me one or two of your videos to get used to complexity. I think this plugin would get a lot of love on the iOS platform as an AU3 device. You might actually be able to finally get paid for all the time you put into it - even if payment was never your goal.

I downloaded this today - only spent a few mins with it so far but already got a nice sound and i am using Sylenth and Ableton...

Super plug-in for live, works a treat and produces some awesome sounds with inputted / imported midi chords and notes. BlueARP + your fav VST synth = hours of fun :)

1 - there's no randomize function. Personally I don't like randomization stuff, but I have it in mind as a 2nd priority task (a lot of more important things to do like bugfixes, writing manual, etc.)
2 - Actually you can do glides by setting step type to "Rest". Your synth should be set to moto with legato on. (for "Rest" steps, generated notes will overlap). I will cover this in manual.

Agree, my plan is to create bank of sequences for release version. About ABGDEFG - I thought of extending it to 64 steps with pages ABCD (16 steps each) and the ability to playe them sequentally (64 steps sequence) or somehow switching between them. Thanks for input!

i can compose a whole beat with just one midi track playing chords being routed to multiple instances of this plugin :D i love it
This is amazing! I love it! Exactly what I've been looking for. This arp reminds me of another apreggiator called Catanya. It also has a matrix pattern editor. You can program your own patterns but it recognizes only 3 notes at a time. So a simple triad chords can be played. Yours is much better because it recognizes 4 note chords.

Very nice tool. Finally found my dream DAW: WaveForm 9, lets you crazy easy setup tools like this, and even do advanced things like router keyboard MIDI into PluginBoutique SCALER to generate chords, then out of it, into this or Kirnu Cream, and get your arpeggiation, ALL IN A SINGLE TRACK IN THE DAW!!!

I got working in Reaper today, it really is great work. I'm still checking things out, but I'm still unclear about a few things:
1. Can you control the velocities of each single step?
2. Is there a way of adjusting 'swing'?
3. Where oh where are any presets? I assumed I downloaded them, but the default location shows the folder 'empty'.
I'd like to contribute, but I'm wondering how this stacks up against the pricey ones I may have to go for. Excellent work!
Yes to both. I added quite a lot of stuff since then (it was in 2012). If it's unclear, check the manual or other tutorial videos on my channel

one of the best arpeggiators, thanks for that! can you help me please figure out how to save midi parameters from BA to the sequencer track? some drop function or maybe just save>upload it back directly in any channel? in some cases it is needed

great plugin however i noticed that when i use it with sylenth1 and stop the playback it resets all the programs on sylenth1, making me lose all my loaded and modified presets. i have the v1.12rc4 (july 31st 2013) version. any ideas?

Awesome plugin! thank you. one question - is it possible to implement a "random order" of the notes being played? so it will randomize the arp, only with the steps you typed in. secondly, is it possible to implement porta\glide on\off to each note?
there used to be a dx plugin called seq303 that supported it.
randomizing the notes with the glide on\off can reach great effects!

This looks great. Good job on developing this. I hope to try it on Sonar. I see a button that says "Patch" but nowhere do I see a "Save". I presume you can save the patterns you create and the rest of the settings. Am I correct?

I can not run the plugin in Cubase Artist 6. Probably it is a problem with the UI - I can see only a small window and I can not change the size to see the interface.
By the way, I have a proposal to add the 'force to scale' option.

This doesn't work theres no sound coming out of it. I matched BlueArp's MIDI output port to the same number as the VST MIDI input port hit play and a key on my keyboard and nothing happened. I can see its working but there is just no sound? help
hi, do you know why program seq starts at step 9 instead of 1 ??
i have set the step on 16 in the arp engine, but it start in the beginning of the song at 9, and than it's starts all other pr change steps at 1, so there must be a setting or somewhere to click to get it start at 1, so i click on the dot 1 that flickers on and off when his turn comes, but after clicking it, it flickers must faster, and won't move after hitting the play back button.
nothing on this in the manual to..whits is bytheway so not clear to understand and way to little info there about HOW TO. so hoop maybe you can help me here....
Set restart on = beat, should start from step 1 if your sequence starts from the very beginning. Also try restart on = 1st key, might work. I can't say more cause I don't know which DAW and what exactly you do. If you need more help, please make a short video on what are you doing and post it to KVR forum.
I can't get it to work in Cubase 7. I see BlueARP is getting a midi signal but I get no midi from BlueARP.
You can only do 4 notes? What if I need to do an arpeggiation with 8 steps across 6 notes?

Great job! Looking forward to trying this out with Cubase. As you said, looks to give more predictability when programming than other arps (in a good way!). +1 for Force to scale features in v.2 if possible..
would be great if you added already made sequencers to try on new sounds quickly!!! like zeta 2 has 250 already made sequencers to try on new sounds its great!!! 2- also adding a abcdefg to change sequncers on the move so not having to load another to make changes to the sequence!!! thats my input but excellent job!!!!

Does this work with Studio one 3? If so how? I tried a million combinations, and I can't get it to work. It appears to be working as in when I press a few keys, the lights go up and down etc., but no sound. I tried combining it with sounds every way I could think of and messed with the settings, but to no avail.
I've got the same Studio one 3 and I'm also having the same issues...

For some reason doesn't work with Studio One 2.6 x64 (through jBridge). No GUI is displayed.

Im trying to use BluARP with a FLStudio plugins as Sytrus, but it is a real pain in the ass, i can't find a way to link them. Is there a way? thanks

What do you mean with make Sytrus a VSTI? I anderstand that there is a VSTi version of Sytrus, but can I use BlueARP with FL internal synths, or just VSTi ones? cheers.
