This is one of the best wet shaves I've seen. Mr Hakinouchi style is so cool, his hands move so fast he resembled a magician at times. Some of the razor angle/position changes around Harry's face we're lightning quick, extremely skilful. A real master at work.
That was really a time-intensive style when it was in fashion in the 50s, I imagine, for men who wore it. I always thought the flat top with fenders or D.A. was interesting too and must have taken alot of maintenance. Thanks for sharing all your adventures Harry.

This barber is clearly a bit tall as he sort of squats down to shave Harry. Wonderful as always. Flawless work and great ASMR sounds. Going to Japan just for a haircut and a shave is definitely on my list
The work in Japan is just a different breed! I’ve had my experiences in Tokyo and was nothing short of exceptional. Plus their obsession with Americana culture is awesome!

Seeing Harry lying there on the chair, it makes a lot of sense, that in the more distant past, barbers usually were also dentists 🦷 since they already had most of the equipment needed. A video of that treatment would probably the exact opposite of ASMR though.
Well Harry, back to the Tigers Den for this one. Nice close shave and that hair styling too. 👌🏻. I thought there was a bit of a wobble in the camera more than normal but still shot perfectly. Looking forward to the next one.

This is ASMR at it's finest. Mr. Kakinouchi and his shop is "out of bounds" cool... his barber skills are second to none.
