This is the 8th Episode of my Pakistan Motorcycle Tour and in this vlog, I started from Naran and rode all the way to Gilgit via the stunning Babusar Top. Wow Abrar, your drone footage in this episode (and all others) is just AMAZING. I was thinking the same thing when you mentioned that government needs to pay urgent attention to CIVIL PLANNING in order to control development. These areas could be an international tourist magnet, a great source of revenue for government through taxation, and a great source of jobs for the locals IF AND ONLY IF civil authorities could do better planning. Nature is gorgeous, but men/women are destroying it. Places like these are a NATIONAL TREASURE and should be protected for the benefit of all it's citizens.

Garabage and dirt everywhere. living abroad for 15 years i try my best to tell all Pakistani YT bloggers to at least inform general public not to throw rubbish everywhere. all leftovers should be placed in a bin bag when they travel and same goes for people who eat food on streets.

Naraan and Kaghan truly has lost its glory especially even jheel saiful malook has lost it turquoise crystal clear color due to mass deforestation and unstoppable construction and huge influx of tourists resulting in pollution and no proper planning and maintenance. It's the place not to be anymore.😭
Hell even Lolosar lake has lost its elegance. Only Pyala lake is still engulfed with that color of live water.

We visited Naran many years ago with our Chacha's family. At that time we stayed in old PWD (Naran) rest house besides Kunhar River. Only I went up with Lahore based 4-students staying in our neighbouring room to Lake Saif ul Malook by foot (around 3000-ft high). It was an adventure. We departed from Naran early morning and came back at dawn.

I have seen Naran in 2010 first time and I am lucky enough to camp beside river. Now the place is full of hotels and people. Last time I went there in 2019 twice in April and than later in September. The road to Naran was surrounded at multiple locations with construction as compared to 2010. Ibne Adam sub kuch barbaad kar raha hai... No planning.. SAD reality. Beautiful mountains which were covered with trees have now become agriculture lands and hotels. The sewerage of these hotels goes into river, I am sure. People through garbage and litter all around.

We visited Naran and this whole area for the first time in 1987 and it was a wonderful place. Since then I visited this place several times and have seen the deterioration in everything. In top the garbage problem has become totally out of hands. I hope authorities will realize it soon ....
You said 100% true, I also remember that calm and soothing Naran. I use to stay in PTDC tents at bank of River. it was so beautiful ...

This vlog is full of adventure as usually. I was in Naran back in 1982 and there was only one hotel of Pakistan Tourism. No electricity and some garage was available for night stay but now too much hotels and rush.
I agree with you they expanding the constructions with out any planning.

I visited Naran first time in 1989. At that time it was totally a different place. Since then I am watching this place getting deteriorated as the years are passing. This valley has lost it's beauty, but we are helpless.
How can we preserve it
