- HAL has this concept video of its RUAV 200 rotory UAV that makes its first flight by late this year. The Indian Army wants the program accelerated because of the amplified requirements of such a capbility in light of the Ladakh standoff.

Sell the IPR to L&T & see the RUAV prototype under flight testing in the next 12 months.
Without that also you will see it flying by next year.
What stupidity. Why would HAL give its own ip to L&T ?? You need associated infrastructure for flight testing and well as data knowledge. Right now, no private Indian company can rival HAL in aerospace. If L&T is so capable in aerospace, then they should design their own RUAV, nobody's stopping them.

@@katakuri9189 That remains to be seen. HAL is notorious for project delays and cost overruns. If they specify a time period ( in your case ‘mid 2022’) , add another decade or so to it. HAL is a classical example of how a company SHOULD NOT BE.

HAL RUAV can be a gain large order by Indian Military, Paramilitary, CAPFs & Foreign Exports.
I hope that an Armed version of HAL RUAV is developed for Indian Army's High Altitude Warfare & CQB ops
It's only compatible to heli pad . Its its disadvantage .
It should be such that it can drop necessities safely even without helipad.

We should be proud HAL is contributing big for India. But High profile indians sold themself for foreign currency as Koolies shall work in Indian laboratory, if they have slightest patriotism.
Need of these umavs is now in the next coming months not after pls do something whatevr it takes but now create more factories at other locations in the country let the young scientist that already have experience lead these factories give them six to 1 yr deadlines to get the products uav non manned drones r the future.
