Big fan of that 98 Duojet. Due to the slightly hotter output pickups, its a little bit warmer than the other Filtertron pickups, but still retains that classic Filtertron sound and never strays into full humbucker territory.

Thank You for the Informative video.. I was looking for a comparison between the FilterTrons’, TV Jones Classics, and the new FT-67 on the 2023 Gretsch G6136T Black Falcon. Your Tennessee Rose Demo with the FilterTron’s sounded better to my ears. Currently I play a 1992 Gretsch G7594DCT White Falcon & 1998 G6120 with FilterTron’s and a 2022 G6229TG Tuequoise Sparkle Jet with BroadTron’s, T-65 pick ups. Would like a 2023 G6136 with either the new FT-67 or TV Jones pickups; whichever is best for Rockabilly. Thanks for your Demo..I subscribed.
@@shckltnebay I actually had one at some point, pickups sounded really good, but in my head they were like a tamed version of my strat, so gravitated to my strat all the time.

The TV Jones Classics sounded so clear and sweet. All the Filtertrons sounded good though.

Wouldnt a p90 be the closest pickup to most Filtertrons?
p90s have a thicker sound, closer to a humbucker, while filtertrons have chimney bright sound more on the single coil realm.
