I lost my mom Oct 4 2013 from a massive heart attack. Doctors never checked her heart even with all the complaints she had. Loosing her was devastating and not telling her I love you the last time i called to check on papa who is battling cancer, broke me in every way. I regret calling and asking to talk to him really quick and she passed him the phone and she never came back on the line and I didn't ask either. My life changed drastically. She was only 63. Who ever reads this, treasure your mom. You have no idea how much love a mother has for their kids until you have one. Never forget that who brought you in this world and took care of you until you went on your own, probably sacrificed so much for your well being and to provide yoy with the best childhood she could give you. No one is perfect. Parents make mistakes but that love she has for you is the greatest love you'll ever experience and have. I know there are bad moms and dads. This is for the good ones. Yoy can't turn the hands off time. What you don't do today yoy may not have tomorrow. Sorry for the long message. It was in my heart when I heard the song she dedicated to me.

My mom is thankfully still here but that woman is one of the strongest if not the strongest woman I know. She battled cancer for years , lost a lot of people, almost lost her kid (me) and she’s been one of my biggest supporters through everything. No matter what happens she has had my back. She takes me to all my appointments (I have a lot , usually the lowest I have in a week is 2 , sometimes up to 3-4+) , she’s held me when I’ve broke down and didn’t think I could fight anymore , and most importantly, even though I’m a stubborn headed , cold hearted , emotional person, she still loves me. Her life gives me hope that I can and will get better. I was diagnosed with Anxiety when I was little and Depression after my second (and last) suicide attempt. I’m now in recovery from an eating disorder and even though right now times are tough , she still has stood by my side and loved me. Even when things got rough , she was one of the only people to stand up and get me help, and I’m very glad she did . Mama, I love you more than words could ever describe. 💕🥺

There was a special Christmas Gift I got for my Mother in 2006 .. I got her a little girl cocker spaniel puppy .. Before I could give her The Gift .. 2 weeks before Christmas she was told by a Dr. You have 6 months to live . My mother locked herself in a room and cried up until Christmas . My father couldn't console her and begged me " You are the only one that can make your mother laugh " .. On Christmas I told her .. Mommy .. I have a present for you.. It's a little girl .. It's a puppy but I don't have her yet ,. She is still with her mother . The sigh I heard from my mother's voice . I knew she was filled and she cried , Shortly after Christmas the pup was weened and I brought her over , Laid her on the floor and my mother laughed and laughed .. Then told me .. Thank you for the most wonderful gift . I am dying and I want you to take care of her .. Anything my mother asked , I would do .. Then I asked .. " Mom.. what will you name her ? and she said " Lady " .. My mother never saw Lady again . It was the Sunday after Mother's Day .. that my mother passed away .. I wasn't there but called and said I was on my way .. My sister had traveled 1000 miles as an RN and her and my father were there at the moment ..My sister was crying when I got there and told me " Our mother loved you so much that when she heard your voice on the answering machine , Her eyes widened , rose up and went to sleep .. It was such a beautiful day , warm and the flowers were blooming .. I felt the wash of love fill me . Like Angels surrounding me , comforting me . Now the time has come for Lady to go Home and what a blessing she has been .. that tail that seemingly never stopped wagging and I have imagined my mother's puppy running through Heaven .. and jumping in my Mother's arms and licking her face .. I wish I could properly put into words what an experience it has been. Losing my parents and all of my beloved pets ... So many Miracles have streamed forth ,, reinforced my faith , comforted me .. Yet I will cry still . We are only here for a short time .. Love forever .. that is the only thing that endures .. Is Love

Sometimes when I have felt like I am so alone and the world weighs down on me .. I remember and I could almost hear a soft voice speaking to me " I am with you " .. I felt it .. I didn't hear it .. I just felt it flow through me .. Many parts to my miracle .. So unbelievable . .. Growing up my father was very abusive to my mother and I . I was kicked out of the house at 18 and told " Make it on your own " .. I pedaled 22 miles to a dishwashing job in Baltimore MD .. and I used to cry while I rode my bike .." Why God ?" and in looking back .. It never once rained while I was going back and forth to work ?? .. I finally couldn't make it anymore and was on the edge of taking my own life..collapsed and I called my mother .. They had moved to SC and where planning their retirement . To build a new house .. At the time they were staying with my aunt .. and my aunt told me ..Come ! .. I drove down in my jalopy and when I came in the back door my father looked at me like trash that returned . There was my aunt's maid " Margarite " that was at the sink washing dishes .. I knew her as a child as my aunt's maid .. and what she said to me as I stood there .. She turned her head and time stood still .. She said " You are filled with The Holy Spirit ".. a month later my mother asked my father .. I want our son to build our house .. I had little experience , perhaps 6 months of any construction .. I sat down with my mother and ideas flowed and somehow I captured them on paper .. I put them on velum and broke ground 32 years ago as a child .. It was a joy using my hands in this way . I felt something again flow through me .. This will give my parents their dream home , it will give me a skill , it will be an offering of forgiveness to my father that despite the past .. It is gone and you are my father and the seeds of forgiveness have been laid .. Whatever my mother wanted throughout construction .. I told her " I can do that !" .. When I finished in 1986 .. I stood in the backyard holding my mother and I told her " I have never done this and I don't know how I did " She laughed and said " God gave it to you .. Use it and only use your gift as a weapon for good " .. My mother loved her house and when she was ready to go Home .. She wanted to be there .. My father and I healed our relationship and when time came .. He wanted to be there .. .. I told my sister years ago .. How wonderful it is that you were given the gift as a nurse .. To be there and comfort our mother and comfort our father in their last moments and how wonderful it is for me to offer through my hands and love them .. .. Many years ago .. I was working for the nations #1 architect Donald Gardner and I unfurled the plans .. First draft of my parents house and seemingly he was stunned .. You Never Studied Architecture ?? and now to this day one detail appears on all of their plans .. I would see magazine with my work later .. I built homes for authors like #1 bestseller Tom Clancy .. for billionaire , and when I do anything .. I reflect on the opportunity I was given by God and many things come across me .. I have a gift .. Teach others , whatever you do .. Give Glory to God and realize it is not because of you .. but through you .. These are the treasures I seek .. and some of the greatest gifts I have received .. Is watching someone that everyone doubted that I had the means to help .. Have a family , a drive and inspire them to believe .. You Can ..

Its my birthday month and I miss mamam. This month reminds me of how she carried me until labour hours. She continued to being the great star from God that guided me through life. In her absence her guidancances are as clear as morning star...... As I grow older I realise everything she endured and sacrificed for me.......and yet I grow up as ungrateful child.
