Love... Love... Love... your Walkabout Wednesday. Your garden is amazing, fabulous, gorgeous, heavenly. Love how you clean it up as you do your Walkabout. It's so relaxing. Thank you for sharing 💕
Laura, I’ve been a subscriber for a couple of years now and I love all your videos. I always enjoy watching you every day and I’ve learned a lot from you. I love your backyard garden. It’s so beautiful! Thank you so much for sharing it with us. I’ll keep watching from south Texas! 😎
I really love how you take your time giving all of us a tour of your plants one by one in your garden. I really love your 'garden workbench table' with all of the small cactus 🌵 pots and different colored fire glass. I'm a copycat so I made one just like yours I spend lots of time out in my garden so I'm enjoying my 'cactus workbench table" all the time. Thanks for all of your "Succulent Tips of the Day" , they are working... because I'm getting compliments about my garden. My husband enjoys watching your show with me.
Hi Laura. I had a look at my cactus bone yard and came back to it with pots & soil. WOW that was fun and creative. maybe you could do a video on yours !!!!😂
ahhh, it's always so inspiring to see walkabout wednesday... what a treasure chest full of plants! so happy you are getting some time off - we are getting so close to the target subscribers!!! 🤗🤗🥰
Hey Laura! I am really enjoying all of your informative videos, I'm learning so much. I just have to say that I've tried watching other videos but NONE of them compare to you and your knowledge. I also love your sense of humor. Enjoy your vacation up north, you certainly deserve a rest. xoxo
Laura, your round yellow collectable cactus and spiral might be getting too much sun. try giving them more shade. I did that with my collectables and it colored up. Wishing you the best 🥰
We've just gone into winter here in Australia, so I'll be living vicariously through you for the next three months! I would love a spiral and totem cactus but they sell for hundreds of dollars each here 😭
Tons of water for the lemon tree. I really think the fruit will taste better. Our fruit trees in New York always produces predictable amounts of fruit but it tastes better when it’s a super rainy season.
Laura, I don’t feel you are bragging . You are expressing your love for these beautiful creations. I totally get it. My question is Do you feel that when you move permanently to Northern California that you will miss having your succulents? I know you mentioned that you are looking forward to doing different kind of gardening there. 😍❤️🌵
laura! in that susan aach pot with the mammillaria- just add a favorite rock or hunk of glass or sit another small pot from your small plant area and just get that pot looking more intentional (as you would say) :) while you wait to see if the mammillaria will start to fill in...
I’m having a huge problem with squirrels eating all my succulents and cactus. I’ve tried Dr Bronners peppermint soap and now I’ve put crushed garlic everywhere. Has anyone experienced squirrel damage?
Yes! I am at war with them. They are peeling the bark on my redwoods and upending succulents and generally trashing pots. I’m in SantaRosa. I was told to get predator urine. Sigh. I want to trap and relocate but was told I can’t. What have you tried?
@@loriolsonoliver8144 I bought 6 huge bulbs of garlic today will be day 2 . After rubbing it on pots and leaving a barrier around plantings seemed to work. They’ve destroyed so much. Let’s see what today brings. Oh also they’ve chewed the bark and tops off ten foot Cordylines.
I just discovered your videos maybe a month or two ago and you’ve been so very inspiring! I removed my my front lawn ….I asked what was that spray you used and you answered so quickly. I was able to use it! My rocks -looking all beautiful and shiny thank you so much for all your information and inspiration I love watching your beautiful videos and your sense of humor is the best! I have another question for you, where do you find those larger translucent blue rock that you use for decorating? Again thank you so much!
when do you trim back the calendrinia? Mine have taken over my front yard but don't seem to flower as much as it did before...blossoms stay kind of shut. It just looks a little wild now with these tall stems.
Idea for the sunny side and new gutters: Maybe you can ask for local followers to donate some cuttings or small succulent babies to fill them up? Have a “viewers” section of the garden
U mention the cactus in that bowl had •corking” !? I have a peanut 🥜 cactus with similar features at the base .. 🤷🏻♀️ Ummmm 🤨 What is it !? And what can I do to prevent /treat it?!!!!
There are Purple Princess bougainvillea in 1/2 Gals close to me. Is it worth the investment to get it in a pot? 😬 …I say invest because I have an apartment and my pots piling up.

I’ve never seen a plant with pink roots (topsy turvy part). Very cute!

Yes I love bougainvillea too😊
YOU HAVE SUCH A PRETTY GARDEN
More info on crests please. Why do they form? If you propagate leaves from them will you get crests?
I’m having a huge problem with squirrels eating all my succulents and cactus.

Squirrels ate my new Delosperma (Ice plant) down to the roots. I just gave up on it. 🤷♂️ 😸✌️

Have you tried pitcher plants .venus fly traps or sundews in your waterfall pond??
Laura you are so funny 😄

It’s just part of the aging process.
Nothing to be done for it😊
A cumquat tree would look great in that orange pot.
Laura, about how much sun does your gutter area get? Morning or afternoon? It's just thriving and I love it!
Bright indirect light mostly!
