Tiffany, you are my go to favorite potter. You make so much sense in everything you do. You demos and instruction flow into my mind so naturally. You should consider yourself one of the greats like the other potters you reference. Thank you for sharing your expertise . Take care of yourself- I hope you never go off your YT channel❤.
I love this design. Planning on trying this tomorrow. The hardest part for me is waiting for the right time to do the next thing. I just haven’t got timing down. Thanks for demonstrating the process.
I've been doing this a long time, and I suffer with the same. But at least I hope I showed how to solve some issues when the clay gets the upper hand, which is more often than not. 😀
Wow what a different some Clay makes. You look alive, your enthusiasm is catching. Yet another really cool video. Thanks you very much, was getting a little worried life was getting the upper hand for a bit. but Nope! You are back. What a ride!
Yes! This week has been amazing, still painful, but I was in the studio every damn day, and that is sooo healing mentally. I can make it for about 2 hours and then ice and heat and rest, and then 2 more hours in the studio, repeat. It's crazy and finally encouraging that I'll actually get over this. Thank you, Teagan. ❤️
Love, love, love your videos and so look forward to them at the weekend ❤ I was mid comment about the Mud tool sponges when you mentioned them lol. I’m a smooth clay girl myself. Thanks!
Thank you so much in your video before this one that you told us about Grams and Gramps. I bought your Moms book ‘Kodiak Hero’ and was in awe of all that happened. I think your family should consider making a movie out of it. What a way to remember the birth of your first child. I can see now where your spunkiness and determination comes from. Such a wonderful and loving family.
I'm so happy you are feeling better in the knees, these setbacks aren't easy to overcome, so happy koodos to you!!! Loved another of your videos and so happy I have found you!!! 💖 from Washington 😄
I have been bing watching you since discovering you this last couple of weeks..and really enjoy your channel..thank you for being so inspiring..and sweet too
I use sharon Hoppe's system too.. its great.. Ill have to try putting the insert part upside down .. sometimes it' hard to get them out of the system. Looks easier like you do it!.. P.S. i dont like grog either... B mix no grog is my fav
Your news at the beginning was wonderful!!! I’ve been using smooth clay and started using a lightly grogged clay for some bigger things about a month ago. I got the Mudtools white sponges then and love them. This video was awesome! I can’t wait to try this! Congratulations on being able to be back in the studio❣️
Oh Tiffany so so happy to hear you’re doing so much better. I absolutely LOVE the cut look!!! These are absolutely beautiful! Just wondering if you put something under the handle to support it?
Great video love the bowls. We do not have a wheel so I am going to try and hand build the bowl. Can you tell me the dimensions of the bowl you used. So happy to have back in the studio. I look forward to Saturday’s to see what new an exciting items you have created.
Thank you. I put the link in the description for the mold I used, and the dimensions are listed there. You don't need a wheel to make them, which makes it nice for handbuilers.
Your link to Sharon Hoppe's site to order the forms works but I couldn't figure out which ones you used. I noticed it was a 4 stack but what was the width? Looking forward to making this. Thank you for teaching us how you made the foot on the wheel!
Hi Tiffany, I have been wanting to work with clay since I was a kid - closing in on 60 now and finally doing it!! I'm so glad I found your videos, I love watching you work and I've learned a ton :) I have kind of a weird question - I'm wondering if I can throw my apron and towels in my washing machine or will the clay end up clogging it up? Should I wash them outside in a bucket first?
This is a tricky one, since yes, over time, it could create problems in your pipes. But I do it in the wintertime, and the rest of the year, I spray them down with the hose or power washer, and then I throw them in the washer.

Lol, finding where I'd stashed them was a tough mental exercise. 😅

I think next time, I'll wait to put a foot on it until I get the clay off the mold. Maybe these will help. We are always learning!

Thank you, and I didn't need to. I will use a sponge if I think it needs support.

You have Easter egg hair with those colors that would be far better off left on the egg
