Champmen is a hit and runner, George has to learn to counterpunch immediately every time Champman throws a punch and not to wait until Chapmen throws before striking. George obviously came to slug it out but was frustrated as Champmen ran away the whole fight

Dan should be a professional track star. He ran like that because he knows Sean will beat him in a toe to toe fight. Running like that isn't what combat sports are about. Not getting it can be achieved without spending half the round on his bike! With that said, Sean's behavior is unacceptable and he, at a minimum, should be suspended and fined. He showed a very poor attitude and knowing how to loose is just as important as winning. I understand its frustrating when you want to fight but the other guy runs circles in the ring but thats when you have to adapt and cut him off and change up your style. While I do not like the way Dan won it is an aspect of fighting and I can respect the fact he won, he did great when actually throwing punches.

The art of boxing is to hit and not be hit. This is a perfect example. His foot and hand speed are excellent. Most great boxers in history have used this technique at some stage.
Dan chapman fights like dominic cruz from the ufc,evasive and able to use both fist at the same speed because hes facing forward as opposed to one foot forward

When I was studying boxing and martial arts we were always taught the master boxer whether Western or Chinese knew how to strike and not be hit, just like a young Ali, Mayweather, Sugar Ray Robinson and Leonard respectively, Prince Nazeem and the late great Bruce Lee.
All these other fighters you mentioned actually know how to fight and ko their opponents. And I've never seen one of them run from their opponent the entire fight or they definitely wouldn't be legends. But you obviously studied martial arts so end of story.

I didn't see much fighting.
I saw two knockdowns in the first round, a total of less than 60 punches thrown the entire match. Landing less than 20 "scoring" jabs. And then a WHOLE lot of running away so he could keep the lead on the score cards.
You can consider that to be "skill" but I don't. And it's not what fans show up to watch. And clearly the majority of fans agree according to the comments.

Running like that isn't what combat sports are about. Not getting it can be achieved without spending half the round on his bike!
With that said, Sean's behavior is unacceptable and he, at a minimum, should be suspended and fined.
He showed a very poor attitude and knowing how to loose is just as important as winning. I understand its frustrating when you want to fight but the other guy runs circles in the ring but thats when you have to adapt and cut him off and change up your style.
While I do not like the way Dan won it is an aspect of fighting and I can respect the fact he won, he did great when actually throwing punches.

When I was studying boxing and martial arts we were always taught the master boxer whether Western or Chinese knew how to strike and not be hit, just like a young Ali, Mayweather, Sugar Ray Robinson and Leonard respectively, Prince Nazeem and the late great Bruce Lee.

it seems very difficult and especially frustrating for a boxer to have an opponent who keeps walking away, scoring a point and then walking away again, not a nice match to watch, hear the commentator say 'great fight' i don't know where he is but I have rarely seen such a boring and bad 'fight'!!
