You're very smart in setting up shop brother, also personally looking out for the workers, some owners hire 3-4 new guys all competing for a walk ins disrupting anyone from setting a strong foundation, or growing the shop into a place customers can appreciate and become familiar with !

I love the video but your definition of “turnkey” is incorrect. A turnkey business is a business that you purchase and have to do nothing to it you just continue operations as it was running before. So for example say you sell your barbershop, the new buyer would be buying a turnkey business because everything is already set in place. They wouldn’t have to do any changes to the business he can make money from day one.

How did you meet barbers willing to come with you without being a barber??
I think it would help to meet barbers fresh out of barber school at first. They usually don't have money to start their own shop and just need to find a place to get started. If you can promote the shop and hire the better barbers fresh out of school it'll get busy, and some of the more seasoned barbers who just wanna cut and make money but don't want the responsibility of running their own shop might be willing to work there as well

in Canada, if youre a corporation you dont need to have a license to open
I was getting haircut and clearly remember a barber stating that his rent gone up to $200.
I thought $200 per month is not so bad to "rent out a space" in the barber shop...
The barber said, " Its a week that i have to pay.... $200"
