Hmm, there's a lot that was left out of this story. For instance, what about the insurance fraud involving her husband heavily insuring her childhood home and then burning it down? If they were investigating that, shouldn't they have withheld the money until the investigation was complete? How do you think such a significant detail was overlooked or omitted?
I agree that a lot of things were left out of this story. What happened to her job? Was she able, in all this mess able to make the report her boss wanted? Did she and James develop a romance? Did they ever find Charles parents? Was Charles arrested for attempted premeditated murder?

Since when do Dr’s come in ambulances ? The mispronunciation of words and misuse is shocking . Where was her son while she was at the hospital , she moved in with the insurance man ( Carlo’s ) within a few days of meeting him . Charles used Darlene’s house to get a loan , wouldn’t Darlene have to sign papers for this .

In the U.S. inheritances are NOT considered marital property. She can also through her own will, leave it to whoever she wanted.

He was a foundling. She'd waited a year before legally adopting him. That's according to law. The year is lawful to allow family to claim the baby.
