    1. Talks about Granit; shows Taulant.
    2. Arteta did not want him to leave. It was his choice.
Granit Xhaka - leader, captain, and underrated.

What? He was always important at Arsenal, he always started. He wasn’t surplus to requirements either he wanted to leave.
    This guy did zero research.

he is not THE most important player, that's still Florian Wirtz this season. obviously Xhaka has been from incredible performance to incredible performance but there are at least 5 players beside him that are as relevant as he is.

@@chefFamos like it or not but in the 2nd half of the season, whenever wirtz wasn't on the field, the team struggled and miraculously whenever he got subbed in they turned it around.
but in all honesty, their whole season was the definition of team effort. the guys who were always incredible productive are wirtz, frimpong and grimaldo. they were the ones that were almost 100% consistent.
but everybody else was also high class, maybe not every single game but at least 85%. xhaka is THE leader of the team and brings a whole lot of value not only as a football player. but don't sell players like hofmann, boniface, schick, stanisic, andrich, tah and everybody else (figured i don't want to post the whole squad, not trying to undervalue those not named). for me this team has replenished my love for football, while everybody else was playing football manager, leverkusen took leicester city's succes and wiped their butts with it. they are football and it's sad to know that this team won't stay together for too long cause that's how rotten professional football has become.
