he is the grand son of Late Pt. Om Prakash Ji of Meerut shehnayi gharana, one of the finest shehnayi maestros in India and has also learnt the skills in shehnayi vadan from his father Pt. Vishwanath ji, one of the iconic vocalist of Kirana Gharana
in this performance baba Bhaskar Nath is accompanied by Ustaad Athar Hussain Khan of Ajrada gharana on tabla

Sorry to say but tabla player ruined this great performance .. I can feel the pain of this artist because he was not getting Sam on the correct cycle.. Firstly he did not noticed the first sam given by shahnai player then keeps on giving sam on the wrong place.. He improved little bit in the 2nd half..He must not perform solo as he was there to accompany shahnai. Tabla guy must do some riyaz on lehra..
😄 can you please explain how sum was given wrong? the sum can only be on first beat of taal and tabla was keeping cycle fine. The shahnai guy finished always on first beat and once on the 2nd for some reason.
@@Maidsfad093 there are more than a couple of times that he has given sam incorrectly because he was only considering his performance.. and it's quite a nature of tabla accompanist nowadays.. If you play tabla or even know about classical music just count the beats on your hand..
@@rahultripathi856 can you give example which timestamp he has given incorrect sum I have clapped the taala and accounted for the khali on 9th matra not sure where this issue is. Please enlighten me thanks.
Tabla avartanam is just fine, sometimes it hides the sam with offbeat like in peshkar this is possible because there is the lehera of the bandish where you can find always perfect sam.
