I bought a new Iphone and when I logged into icloud I saw that a lot of my pictures weren't there, so I deleted all of them from icloud and then my old phone started putting my images from beginning, but suddenly it stopped at 1300 images and it's not moving at all, I am sure that I have enough space so I don't know where the problem is and how to make it continue putting stuff on icloud. Can somebody help me?
On 1:45 when you picked "Download and Keep Originals", why is it only downloading 16,879 photos when you have 21,506 on your iCloud?

I need help. I'm sharing photos with my wife using iCloud shared photos. The problem is that I can't assign people (facial recognition) to the photos that come from her phone. Is there any way to solve this?
Unfortunately, there is no automated way to do this. You will have to manually review and assign people.
My I cloud is full so I want to transfer data into my iPhone storage but as u show downloads photos and videos I have not seen in my phone I only see turn off and delete from iCloud

I just figured out that you have to have "Optimize iPhone Storage" selected and then you will have the option to "download photos and videos." @@sofiyahayes

Nothing happened after tapping download photos or videos. After tapping, it switched again iphone sync and blue tick went to *download and keep originals*

So on my ipad. All my photos disappeared. I went on the icloud from my android phone. And i found the photos. So is there a way to transfer photos from the icloud website from an android backnonto mu ipad. Just to let you know i cant go on icloud on my ipad as it an ios 10.

Since you can access your photos on iCloud from your Android, you can download them to your phone and then transfer them back to your iPad via email or a cloud service like Google Drive. Unfortunately, iOS 10 limits some iCloud features, but you should still be able to access your photos. Have you tried checking your iCloud settings on your Android to ensure everything is synced properly?

that is because you have enough iphone storage but not enough icloud storage. For example, you probably have the free version of icloud that is 5 gigs but because you prbably used up most of it already then you dont have anymore Icloud storage.
I have the same issue that Allison has and the 5 gig as you describe. If I am moving the photos to the phone, why do I need room on the iCloud. I'm actually freeing up space on the cloud by removing them. Do you have a work around suggestion? Thanks...@@ednamyralobe2175

Hi! To recover your photos from iCloud and save them to your iPhone while preserving their original dates, follow these steps:
1. Open the Photos app on your iPhone.
2. Go to the ‘Albums’ tab and select ‘iCloud Photos’.
3. Find and select the photos you want to retrieve.
4. Tap the share icon (a square with an upward arrow) and choose ‘Save Image’.
The photos should be saved to your library with their original metadata.

In the Photos app, go to Preferences > iCloud and select Download originals to this Mac, Wait for download, and then
