Technically I wouldn't consider him a villain, Just like neither dev nor asur were evil or good. I just think them as different races. Stories of atrocities and benevolence are found in both side. Honestly only the trimurti should be worshipped. The winners write the history, As the bad asurs lost countless times we see them as victory of good over evil. Honestly Indra is the best example of why devas are not always good.
@@shreyassahoo306 This is what Devdutt Patnaik wanted to brainwash, by the way, according to that logic, even Shiva is not a god but is the leader of Shudras, a Moolnivasi leader who used to wear animal skins like charmkara , used to perform naked dance (which we call Tandav) at the smashan ghat. And we all already know about Shiva's ganja bhang dhatura. Everything is according to your logic , Vishnu is called a European invader by the Dalits, so according to that too is correct.

As there are many stories about Shukra from various puranas, but the common points being he was a graha before becoming daitya guru, was the son of maharishi Bhrigu, married daughter of indra and was the father of a daughter. A powerful sage, great acharya guru. His mention is found in the first 2 yugas up till the rama ravana war. After that I have not read about him in dwapara yuga.

Guru shukrachaarya is a great guru who never differentiated between his disciples.Guru Brihaspathi himself had a high regards for him.If you hear the vrittasura vadha story you will hknow thatmany of the Gods and rishis who helped Lord Indra were all disciples of Guru Shukracharya,Brihaspathi himself respected him.The respect that the Daityas.Asuras gave Guru Shukracgarya,even Indra and the Gods didn't give Guru Brihaspathi.In the eyes of the Trinity Brihaspathi and Guru Shukrracharya are completely,equal ,only their dutyies were different..Gurave SriBrihaspathi ,gurave sri Shukra pranamaami sathatham.Thankyou for making a great video.God Bless.

From what I recollect from my history lectures, there used to be different life spans during different yugas.
Which is why 'kalyug' has the image it does. End of the world, immense spreading of evil intent like greed, jealousy, brutality, lies etc. the age span is supposed to be least during the yuga.
