So I've been doing all sorts of music forever. Most of my recording was friends bands back in highschool / acoustic stuff....and when I did hip-hop I had a friend who made beats and was an amazing pianist. So now here I am all these years later....and I was kind of under the impression EVERYONE uses loops?? I mean I couldn't go to a website looking up production without running into a ton of different "designer loop packs" popping up. I was wanting to make some of my own loops...but idk how the copyright/fair use intersects with loop creation. Is that why there are so many beats now?? Like everyone is buying/using piano loops / midi sequence loops + drum loop or premade drum midi sequence and adding the instruments on top?? That would explain a lot. Now I'm gonna be wondering if all these beats I keep hearing were made on a crappy Android app or something 😂
Guys TBH with you all I'm not against loops okay but be creative and smart, don't be lazy, don't just drag and drop. It's just that I'm so happy to see big producers making everything from scratch 😇 it inspires producer like me to be creative and word hard because most of them they just drag and drop made the drums n 808/Bass that's it 😉
