I came home after a 12 hour work day and was so happy to be able to take this relaxing bike ride through nature. Do you have a bell on your bike or some way to alert the pedestrians that you are approaching?

Hi Sandra, thanks for watching! I don't have a bell on my bike but I always slow down and take wide turns around people that are keeping to the right lane, I'm usually many feet over to the left of them when passing, sometimes on the dirt shoulder of the bike path. If people are obstructing the whole path I'll just give them a polite 'excuse me' lol. I usually chop that out of the video since I sometimes can come to a near complete stop and I like to keep it moving with minimal slow downs.

"On your left" announcement is far more polite and should be a common courtesy regardless of how many people you encounter. It is just simple respect for others awareness of your approach....period.

@@dond4439 90% of the time the "on your left" startles them into your lane. Best to just take it wide left around them

Can you ride a bike here? I want to see how beautiful the road will be in the fall.

It's probably a little late for fall colors in this region but I have a similar video I took in the fall of the minuteman bike path last year - ruclips.net/video/9g-vHp8ovn4/видео.html . It starts in the city but gets more rural as you go along.

The bike paths around Mass are a great way to get into nature! They often start in a city center and it's usually only a few miles before you feel like you're in the country.

The trail in full is 25 miles long, this was around halfish. That particular ride to Concord was around 14 miles.
