Jay is American, he doesn't have an English accent 😂 and Jake is Australian so he has an Aussie accent, but (at least for me as a non native speaker) he seems to be loosing it slightly due to lack of practicing, since he now speaks Korean most of the time

I felt second hand anxiety from Jake but I am so proud of him. Even tho he was nervous, he tried his best to support his team and fill in the silences by answering questions to his best ability. I literally have the same birthday as him down to the year, 2002, so I feel a sort of kinship with Jake. As someone also with a fear of public speaking, he handled it really well. I feel like the MCs should have tried to reassure him more. But kudos to him

Jamie has done this so many times as i've noticed as a fan of hers and someone who has watched asc for years- when english speakers come on the show she encourages them to actually speak english BECAUSE THEY CAN and also because fans would want to hear them speak more english on an english speaking show- she didnt even cut him off after he talked for 1 min he was literally just a few words in when she did that. Also when he got flustered she asked him if korean was better for him then and he said he could manage (or something like that) which she 100% would have asked him to continue speaking in korean if he said yes

The staff also asks them to encourage the guests to speak english so I don’t see where it’s her being rude.
