My puppy is 5-1/2 months old. The best tip I got was to not expect a puppy (especially a teething puppy) to never bite, but to teach them GENTLE mouthing or SOFT biting. They explore the world with their mouths and it's their hard-wired instinct to put their mouths on you, but those razor-sharp puppy teeth don't have to lacerate you. My puppy now understands the commands "soft" and "gentle" -- well, most of the time.
I know your video was 4 months ago but I saw it and just wanted to comment. I bought a mini Goldendoodle puppy July 2nd. She just turned 4 months old. She's a buff color and very curly. The only tips that I can give you is that we've had five dogs and I've never had a dog quite like this dog. She's very people oriented, extremely playful, too smart for her own good and very loving. I bought my puppy a baby pool and filled it with 2 in of water. She jumped right in it. They love water. So that was something else that she could play with. Then a few days later I bought her a ball and threw the ball in the pool. Sophie That's my puppy's name, had so much fun. So every day so far when it's nice out I've put water in the pool. I've had no problem with the crate with her. I want to congratulate you on your new puppy and enjoy her. 💜
Your Ellie is beautiful!! I have never seen a golden doodle that color!! The color is unique and I love it. I have a 3 year old female golden doodle and she is highly intelligent and very affectionate! Thank you for sharing your video with us!
I got mine from from breeders I’ve found online. Be careful to not get scammed. Never send money without having a FaceTime call or something. We had people telling us that they could fly us a puppy like shipping a package. If they are too anxious about the money that is because there is no puppy. I actually have three goldendoodles and will have a litter once they are old enough. Right now my pups are only 13 weeks old. I would be happy to make arrangements with you to FaceTime to see if you like the color and would want to a be a forever home

I think Ellie is merle and its possible for Golden doodles to be merle even if the parents aren't. Also i hope you realize some people can't adopt because they may be looking for a specific breed that fits their living style. Also not a lot of people know if their dog is unethical or not so don't blame this on them if that is the case.
@@aritunes21 Golden's and poodles do not come in merle.. so, of the dog is merle, another breed is mixed in there. Merle is a lethal dominant gene.. one parent must be a merle to get merle. If someone wants a "specific breed", then buy a PUREBRED from a reputable breeder. Crossbreed dogs don't have specific traits
