Drawing has a long history. Drawing changes over time and space. Western and eastern artists draw in different ways. The oldest form of drawing is cave drawing. The oldest drawing has been found in South Africa, which is a 73,000 years old drawing. In ancient civilization drawing was popular. The Egyptian civilization is notable for drawing and other form of arts. In the Middle ages pen and ink was invented. Modern drawing began in the Renaissance. Leonardo Da Vinchi and Michelangelo are the most notable artist (draftsman) in Renaissance. In modern world drawing is widely spreaded. It is said that drawing is the most effective study technique. Drawing requires one’s brain engagement with different new materials. It improves the memory of people.
