"The more wheat, the merrier!" --- Words to live by😊❤
This show was just as good as Dragnet I say. Many of the cases are very hard to believe,but they all really happened! I enjoy this show!
i agree. Dragnet had so many odd ball ones .. they had to be real 😎
but we all know , Dragnet was the “ gold standard “ of cop shows 👍🏼
There are so many scams pulled today. I wish there was a show like this one on TV today. :)
There is a podcast/show called scam school, not explicit as this show but very informative.
The supposed con men didn't break any laws. They put a contest together and the farmers agreed to not receive their wheat back after entering. The $1,000 was paid to the winner as agreed. God Bless
Originally telecast on March 27, 1952.
@19:20 “I’m mighty glad I didn’t make it pass the 3rd grade “!
This one wasn't illegal.If you enter the Pillsbury Bake Off you don't get to take your cake home.Read the rules before you enter.
they say that $1,000 bucks was worth $10,000 today .. nice prize indeed $$$$😎
Even though the farmers got shredded,if the contest rules clearly stated the bushels were not to be returned,how is this illegal?
If the prize is not paid.

I don't see the swindle in this one the farmer's didn't read the papers that said they were keeping the wheat.
Warehouse for grain?? No.
This a goofy show. It makes no sense. From a long time wheat grower.
