my grandmother loved mario kart and this stage holds a special place in my heart as it was the track my grandmother completely annhialated my middle school bully at after insulting her… she died in 2016 but damn she was a legend

People: The MK8 is version is better Me: The original version is better since it has Half-pipes, Miis replacing Wario's face when playing as them and music changing in the mine. All removed in favor of stupid railings on the shortcut and end to make the track unnecessarily easier.

Is there any way to get the Mario Kart 8 DLC for MK8 on the Wii U now? I never got it when it was available since you had to buy it, but I was able to download the Mercedes DLC successfully a year ago.

Mario kart wii was the pinnacle of their franchise imo. Mario kart 7 was great but I didn’t like their remasters. Waluigi pinball could’ve been better

The remake is better because the stunt pads are luckily gone, and you no longer have to avoid these minecarts.
Easier doesn't necessarily mean better.

Grumble Volcano is hard, but not that bad, you just have to get good at manual drifting and avoiding the fire caterpillars that come out of the pipes.
