I think This Is a reference to what we saw on Kirin before, but This Time with Rajang (Also, His Thunder power comes from Kirin Horns, si ot can make sense)

I love how different Furious Rajang's fight is from normal Rajang's. He still has all of Rajang's moves, and gets some new ones all his own. He gets the Psycho Crusher charge attack, the ground wave, and most of all his pin attack - damn his pin attack. He's my favorite fight in all of Sunbreak.

Kushala continues his tradition of being a dumbass in this cutscene by insisting on close quarter combat with an opponent of superior physical strength instead of utilizing his arieal advantage and range attack advantage to kite rajang. Every time Kushala gets punished hard for close quarter I always think about how much better he will be if he fights others the way he fights me.
Kushala is said to be insanelly heavy and strong, so it is not weird that he gets physical. And the second he saw Rajang overpower him, he inmediatly went to using ranged attacks.
Well now all those people that always said “Rajang is not a dragon ball reference, Apes turning golden is a culture thing, blah blah blah” weren’t so right after all. They literally called him a Super Simian, so go bite a Rathalos.

Really sucks how weather like this doesn't exist in the actual game (except of the jungle rain) luke look how much cooler the frost islands look her, why doesn't the presence of kushala trigger this weather? Wich leads me to my second point, this could've been utilized into gameplay, by using your cohoot, instead of it being a 100% accuracy drone that givees you the exact location of the monster it could've been so every map has its own temporary weather hazards that effects his vision, shrine ruins and citadel having mist and fog build up which makes him unable to see the monster when this hazard is present unless the fog is gone, frost islands having a blizzard that's also temporary but stays there the whole time is kushala is there which makes him get exhausted and mistakes random rocks and trees for monsters, rain and high moister levels in the flooded forest and jungle exhausting the cohoot which makes him return to you more often for an energy drink or smth, heatwaves in the lava caverns draining his health thus taking too long to fly off again and track the monster in order to recover this hazard is also temporary but when teostra is present then this hazard is permanent, a sand storm in the sandy plains which does the blizzard effect or a heatwave that also does what was mentioned before (ofc if teostra or kushala are present then it's also permanent), ofc you would have to upgrade your cohoot to be able to resist these hazards with cohoot specific skills or item and maybe even small armor, in the beginning of the game the cohoot would circle the area the monster is currently in and as you progress through the game and upgrade his abilities you unlock different vision types like a heat map and then when you're nearing the end you unlock the ability to be able to see the monster on the map while also strengthening his resistances to these weather effects throughout rise and maybe even becoming immune to them by the time you reach sunbreak depending on the gear, like idk a reward armor that makes it so your cohoot can't get exhausted or lose health and become the version we have now, heck make it so these stuff affect your palamute too, if your cohoot level is low then the palamute can memorize the smell of a monster you've encountered once and lead you to it by showing you an easy path on the map when your cohoot is exhausted or smth. Clearly from the beginning the cohoot just seems like a cute owel that was created only for marketing and to sell merchandise.
Me upon reaching MR50 and getting this urgent quest: Furious Rajang? As if the original isn't already bad tempered enough already! How much angrier can this guy get?! Capcom: yes.

Damn I still prefer the base game's intro though, it was more cinematic and action packed for Rajang's personality. They dont even really do much of anything in this ecology intro, like at least show the Furious Rajang jumping at the Kushala as the ending shot or something to hype him up.
