My favorite to always have in my tanks. I’ve had my female now for five years. She’s a beast! I tried to have a male with her but she wouldn’t have it and darted at him to death. They are beautiful to watch graze in the tank for pest and food. The way they flash themselves at you and how they smash the food against the live rocks to brake into small bits.
Providing you parameters are in check and your tank is big enough, Yes! They are a hardy and active fish with great color and personality. And, they won't break the bank compared to other high-end wrasses. Thanks for watching!
I was debating this guy in your divers den. But sadly I have cleaner shrimp in my tank and didn't want them killed 😕. Instead I grabbed the male red head solon fairy wrasse from the den. Just placed my very first order from you guys.
Actually, these are quite social once they have settled in and acclimated. If they constantly hide or burrow then they are probably stressed or being picked on by other tankmates. Thanks for watching!

Thanks for watching! Good job keeping her 5+ years!
Would you recommend this wrasse for a beginner?

I have one and he's the smartest in the tank. He knows how to use the rock to break food apart. This bastard is so damn smart lol
They do display some incredible behaviors. Thanks for watching!
What a cutie ribbon boy lol

Great choice and thank you for your order! We appreciate it :)
I got sold one of these and was told he would be safe with my anemone shrimp breeding pair. A month later they both disappeared. Pissed
@@TheOfficialWorldOfBoats dang sorry about your loss
Would he be safe with my cleaner and fire shrimp?
Yes, A Melanurus Wrasse would more than likely eat a cleaner shrimp as the wrasse grows and gets bigger. Thanks for watching!
Theyre great if you never want to see them and you enjoy sand hiderz
