- This Bible study devotional covers Psalm 56. In this passage, David fears for his life. But in his exhaustion and fear, he entrusts his life to God. Knowing God’s character and that God promised him a throne one day, David is confident in his coming rescue.
As always, we are committed to showing you how to see the good news of the Gospel in every passage of Scripture. In Psalm 56, we see that Jesus was hunted like David. Though he was promised a throne, he fell into the hands of enemies. But his resurrection proves that he can rescue from the slander and threat of enemies. He is now king at God’s right hand, and one day will bring justice to every cruelty his people had to endure.

Let us cease our shame and send our Spoken Gospel some money so that they can but a few pizzas and some coffee and Coca Cola while they do this great work for us even though they have only received a paltry $5,000 in crowd funding for the entire massive project this far (February 16, 2023.
