According to the online timetable, all three GPX pairs connect Montreux to Interlaken Ost again without the need to change trains at Zweisimmen station. In Rail Passion N°310 (a French trade magazine), which I have just received, I read that the solution is to reduce the distance between the inner faces of the wheels by 4 to 6 millimetres, by adjusting the telescopic link between the bogie half-frames.
