  • We took a half-day trip to Roman Nose State Park in Watonga, Oklahoma. We spent a few hours hiking, eating a picnic lunch, enjoying the natural springs, and eating dinner at Swadley's Foggy Bottom Kitchen! Roman Nose State Park is one of the first seven original state parks in Oklahoma and it has lots to offer! There's plenty of camping (including three teepees), a 22 room lodge, 11 cabins for rent, horse back riding, 18-hole golf course, kayaking, fishing, a general store, two public pools and more!

Sadly Foggy's is no longer the restaurant in the state parks, due to some shady dealings or something. That food looked amazing, especially the apple fritters. I haven't been to Roman since I was a kid, a long time ago. This is on our bucket list of places to go camping.

Yes, so sad! We did get to try out the new "Lookout Kitchen" recently and it was tasty! I'll have to do a follow up video sometime. We didn't like it as much as Foggy Bottom. Sadly, Watonga lake is still drained which is a bummer but still a great park none the less!

This was great!! I can’t decide which was my favorite part, the nature sounds, the fish getting to safety or the shot with you resting your head on Ryan’s shoulder 😭❤️ SO sweet!

Please don't keep switching filters during the whole video.... It's cool at the intro, but way too frustrating for my eyes through the duration

Oh, my. I had no idea Roman Nose State Park had so much to offer. It's come a long, long way since I was there umpteen years ago. Great job making me want to go there again, Katie!
