Blair was there for Serena when it mattered like with pete, she also defended her from Georgina, Juliette, Jenny, Gabriel, Poppy and more. Serena never did much for Blair.

I always loved the Blair treated Dorota as a friend, she knows about her life, she appreciate when Dorota start her family, and would always show her weakness and soft side to her. I think not even Eleanor know as much of her daughter as Dorota knows.
Dorota was basically her mother more than Eleanor was, Blair was just raised to treat her as less but over her growing up with Dorota she respected her more and more. That’s the best relationship in the series
