I appreciate the fact that this time Samery didn't show an humiliating "hyper high" kick but she was just ok with a normal one. A big thank from my dignity
in the type of tkd i do (ITF in the UK) we call this a turning kick or dollyo chagi... idk i just thought this might help some people to know that they're the same :)
Samery, you are a very good instructor as you are so clear in giving instructions and breaking down the steps on the floor first before making the actual demonstration standing up. 👍👍👍Many thanks coming from a Group Fitness Instructor like me.😊 Will watch more of your videos.👍
When I was in Ukraine I learned TKD kicks names in Korean. So confusing how to call spinning heel kick (회축) fixing shoulder side kick position + spread leg+ swing+ bouncing shoulder to opposite site (performance kick). This really hurts my back. Without injuries practicing it those tip I need. BTW what's in English?
Thank you very much I have benefited a lot and excited as a beginner in taekwondo especially since today I have a class in the taekwondo lounge 💪😍 and I wish you luck
Nice clean bi-chagi. :) Nice tutorial, ill subscribe and look at your stuff. Being a blue belt... (and someone with a serious lack of flexibility) it's nice to get more resources, look over different teaching methods and way to train the body for specific kicks.
Nice video as always!!! Samery I have a "strange" question, I can do the splits, however, I spend 2 or 3 days without doing it again due to the pain, it is strange because I already manage it completely, but my body apparently does not respond quickly to recovery! This kind of discourages me, because if I stay more than 3 days without doing the splits, it is practically impossible to reach it again, I find this very strange! What is your opinion? Should I do the splits every day (in a shorter amount of time), or do I continue on this 2-3 day recovery schedule? or just change my workout? * If anyone here has been through something like this and knows how to guide me I will be grateful!
You need to keep practising the splits every day... for a certain amount of time. This has happened to me as well and I think it's perfectly normal ☺️. After you practise the splits every day for a considerable amt of time (depends on YOUR own body type), your body develops the flexibility required to go without practising for a few days. Hope this helps you. (I hope I was clear, English is not my 1st language)
I'm using headphones and I don't know why but I only hear your speaking with LEFT side only, every other video on youtube that I watch I can hear perfectly on both
hi so I was in taekwando for 10 years now and my master told to work on my tornado kick in just can't do it with my left foot and I keep getting yelled at because of it
Got 1 question!Im 30 years old guy with no past knowledge of any martial arts and im not flexible, but i want to start taekwondo...is there any hope for me,is it possible?
@@SheepSlayer he is kind of right. The way she does is using only her leg without using upper body, that’s the kick for point but she can’t knock someone out the way she does

Damn. The movie's have been misrepresenting this kick for years. Thank you for clearing this up for me 😁
Nice video
Learning kicks is much more challenging than how it looks. I still struggle on side kicks as I can hardly lift my legs past 90.
Well demonstrated in form and execution. Thank you.
Staying fit, I gotta go back to my dumbbells and excercise routine. Been working 4 days a week, 10 hr shifts.

There's one more thing i would like to suggest. After a workout put your legs in warm water and after some time massage your legs with mustard oil.

Why do you land in the opposite stance instead of returning to the original before landing?
You can land with a step in front or put it back.
We’re you already warmed up before performing the roundhouse kick?
Of course
You don’t want to get injured buddy
