- This video shows you how to replace the low beam headlight bulb in a BMW e60/61 years 2004-2010 with the xenon headlight option. Subject car is a 2008 550i M-sport.
Bulb: OEM Osram-Sylvania D1S. This is the bulb that comes with the car at 4300k color.
Tools required:
Rubber gloves
Torx 25 and 30
8mm ratchet
Magnetic screwdrivers
What kind of bulb does the low beam and angel eyes use?
Helpful guide but makes light removal and fitting look much easier than it was for me. Maybe there is a trick I was missing but a good 5 minutes to work out how to get the lights out and on one side it took 20 minutes to get the stupid thing back in and that was with someone who works on cars regularly helping. It is a job you can do at home but amateurs beware.

Would this be the same set up as the 2013 BMW 528i xdrive? Haven't been able to see an exact video on youtube so far. This one seems the closet to it. Might be able to get at it without taking the headlight off.

Is fl lamp removing different than pre fl? When i used to take pre fl lamp i had to take out rims to make space
