There are a number of workarounds for various systems region locks, some are physical and some are software based. For the n64 they sell adapters or you can use a gameshark. The SNES has tabs you can remove or use a game genie. The NES needs an adapter or you can make your own with some launch games that came with one inside. For the Genesis the game genie will get you past the physical lockout allowing early mega drive games to work but later games also have a software lockout. The CD based systems also have their own options.
Dan Vasc's boxed PC Game collection is a thing of absolute beauty, it really is. Knights & Merchants is a superb game, it still holds up well these days IMO. Byte Brothers - talk about blast from the past devs!
Jeremy, they do make cartridge adapters for the N64 to enable playing Japanese games on North American N64's. They're obtainable on eBay for about $30-ish. I have one for my N64 so I can play the AKI-produced Virtual Pro Wrestling 1 & 2 which used the same engine as WCW vs. nWo World Tour and WWF No Mercy. Just search eBay for "N64 cartridge adapter".
Another awesome stream. You 3 have great chemistry together. It just works. Very entertaining. Maybe you could also do retro movie reviews and play retro games together. Anyway... thanks for the great show :)
Another good show guys, you need George Molho as I feel he'd bring a lot of goodies to the table and maybe knock a few people over with his collections! (Hot toys mmmmm)
Hey Jeremy perhaps starting a retro rewind of sorts. Could be a weekly video covering a retro system game/series piece of tech or major name in the industry etc.
I’m two years late in watching this video… But you guys are hilarious! I look forward to binge watching all of these videos just for some good laughs and nostalgia!
Chrono Cross, Metroid Dread, Mario Kart and Xenoblade have frequently be screened behind Jeremy in his videos. it's like Nintendo thought when making a Direct "what would Jeremy like?"
Hey Jeremy. Looks like RUclips is messing aroud with the like/dislike ratio on Amazon Rings of Power Teaser. hahahaha I suspect to say the least. This afternoon was 14/21. Suddenly tonight jumped to 75/41 (lide/dislike). Worth it to check it out.
53:18 Magazines like that - with full games - were common in the UK, too. I remember _CD Expert_ and I know that there were others. I'd guess that the UK was the original source of them, with the Brazilian version being translated.
Get asome framework in ther for the rounds. The stories to the stuff r cool but if u wanna keep it in that competing context u really need some scaling to give that some validity. It doesn't work if one can burn the other one by numbers of pieces when it's up again one that's actually burner. If it's losing against a trio of 1 on an equal level, 1 pretty cool but not duuuuude and 1 that's kinda cool i guess, somehow... It really feels wrong. Maybe ushould split that into two sections - limit the number of items per round to 1 each with some guideline for price limits n do that competition with a lil' mor tension but shorter n than a second section to just show other stuff u found that could not make it in the battle but stll should get spotlight. With some structure could that show really get much better than the fun idea that's it currently, i mean like an actual show. With a monthly cycle it can really use some polish n effort, to get ppl invested.
First wrestling game I played, WCW vs NWO revenge, my memory may be fuzzy on it but I remember you being able to do a hell of a lot more in the ring and matches then there is in current day wrestling games.
you know their biggest mistake was calling this a lord of the rings film, if they had of called it a dungeons and dragons film everyone would think it looks pretty bad ass lol
I'm trying to remember which SEGA GENESIS console I had and need, from the 90`s,that accepted these games, still have the games, which were jungle strike, desert strike and U.S. strike, some of the funnest games I ever played, where you flew an APACHE attack helicopter and had to go on different missions, still have a lot of MADDEN games too, just looking for some help, thanks👍👍
@@benbehzadpour1177 thanks alot, yeah it's a cartridge game,I'm guessing I have to find a used one on EBay ?if so what would be a fair price for a good condition used one?again thanks again for your help
Thank you all for the support! This show is so damn fun and the growth has been awesome so far!
Jeremy's forlorn "Thank you Dan, thank you Dan." Absolutely killed me. Great episode.
"Evil cannot create anything new, they can only corrupt and ruin what good forces have invented or made." - J . R. R. Tolkien
Jermey and Dan are like battered women, every month they think this time will be different, then Tommy just slaps them around once again
I wish this show was every week.. I love this shit, it really brings me back(Im old) lol🇺🇸
That N64 radio might have been an employee only type gift.
Dan... Knights & Merchants is one of my fave old strategy games of all time!!!

My nostalgia when it comes to gaming is Commodore 64 and Commodore Amiga. Amazing times.

Sega Genesis was the console name If it was cartridge based. If it was disk based it might be Sega Saturn or Sega Dreamcast.
