- The Ishvara Gita is one of the most secret books in the world that we discover in the Puranas. It is a text believed to be only recommended for those who have attained moksha, or those who are ready to step beyond. In this episode of The Sacred Word, I will unpack seven verses from the Ishvara Gita about the knowledge of Brahman, the Ultimate Reality, in the world and in your own heart.

Do you live in India?
"He who is rooted in oneness realizes that I am the same in all beings. He who sees the divine in everyone is not bound by actions and is free from sorrow. He who sees me in all beings and sees all beings in me, he never loses sight of me, nor do I lose sight of him." (Ishvara Gita, Chapter 6, Verse 29-30)
Sounds like what is said in the Bhagavad Gita-similar concepts.
@@aldebaranredstarof course. They are two branches of sanatan dharma teachings.
I adore this Gita. It has a Ramakrishna-like inclusivity towards Shiva. Shiva is basically divine mother but just from a different perspective. Truly profound book. Both highly nondual and dualistic, without distinction. Vivekananda was fond of this text too, allegedly inspiring his talks on Raja Yoga. If you ever wanted the flavor and colors of a bhakti Vaishnava, the truthful absoluteness of Advaita Vedanta, the expansiveness of Shaktism, and are familiar with mystical texts, this one is for you. Also has practical instruction. Its a gem.
YOU being YOU is what the WORLD needs right NOW 🙏 Thank You
I AM THAT...Shanti Shanti Shanti.... thank you Jason...be blessed for your service to mankind, all that is...and beyond :)
All glories to lord Shiva, The greatest devotee of The Supreme Personally of Godhead lord Sri Krsna 😍🕉🖐
At the entrance to the subatomic particles study centre at cern switzerland a statue of Sri Nataraja was erected... From the symbols of Lord Shiva dancing the Cosmic Dance, 2 are the most Important things which have affected my life : 1 The Vedic Sound (not written "Samskr'tam) Sanskrit which had taught the late Prahlad Jani amongst many to live the last 70 years of his life without eating nor drinking and which was received from the Damaru for mankind by Saptarishi (7 Rishis) 2 The little ugly guy under lord Shiva's right foot (unknown to most that he is "Apasmara" or "Rex Mundi" with his servants the Human Ego - Emotion - Impulses - 5 sensory perceptions - Nervous system of pain and pleasure and logical intellect, keep me as a prisoner within my own head from birth to death if I don't find way to free myself from it...
You're just fueling my book buying addiction 😆
Shiva means shi va that wich is not physical, just as adiyogi was called shiva by the 7 rishis when they saw he had transcended the body mind they said he has become shiva meaning transcendence of body mind ,many thanks Jason just ordered that same book on amazon, yes people it's available on amazon 16 pound with delivery paper back hard back also available, let there be peace let there be love for all beings universal namaste 🙏 om namah shivaya om 🕉 shanti shanti shanti 🙏 🕉
There is a language parallel in hebrew: shin (fire) vav (adjoining to the divine as a 'nail', part of tetragrammaton). I've noticed a ton of these parallels last few years
Shiva in Sanskrit means Benefactor
Samskrutha ..The first and perfected language ~ Mother from which all languages derive..

Shiva is manifest and unmanifest. Being one with all things does not limit one to either a non-corporal or physical manifestation. 🙏🏻
Nameste, Jason. Sincerely and simply thank you 🙏.
You are doing good man, learning and understanding vedas is not easy !!!
ஓம் நம சிவாய❤️❤️
Om namah shivaya ❤️❤️
The Supreme Soul, The Ocean of Knowledge, incorporeal God Shiva incarnates into the body of Brahma in Bharat (India) at the end of the World Drama Cycle. This is remembered by the festival Shiv Ratri or Shiv Jayanti, the birthday of Shiva. His descent or incarnation is to purify the impure and to transform Hell into Heaven. This is also why He is remembered as the Purifier Father the Benefactor, and the Bestower of Salvation.
Har Har Mahadev! ❤
Thank you Jason. Good one.
Thank you for your continued service...
Yes. We are the 'source' manifested. The source is undergoing transformation always - hence why we get the light (evolved pure source) and dark (void). I was once in the 'bliss' state connected and all knowing, but you do get bored if you are curious like me, so you fall in and out of it. Now I am on the path of deeper physical development joined with mind.
‘Happy is he who is before he came into being.’ Christ from the Gnostic texts according to Thomas
These stanzas have a lot of similarity with some stanzas from chapter 13 of Bhagavadgita. Nice video..thank you. I heard the name Ishwara Gita for the first time, though! 😊
Realizing the atman and the oneness of all things is part of our work here in the physical. Adi Shakti is all the feminine aspects of Shiva/Shakti. It’s universal and the balance between the divine aspect of our left and right hemisphere as well as the twin flame aspect of ourselves. Seemingly different but balanced in oneness.
I'm practicing being. I'm not practicing not being. Y? Love Life!🕺🏼😊
Thank you for this I needed it ❤️🔥 also I bought effortless living on audible and I love it! Beautiful read and I appreciate that you narrated it personally. 🙏🏻
Very happy to see a foreigner explaining about Brahman 🙏❤️✋
YEAH , SOMETHING NEITHER YOUR WIFE NOR YOIR PATHETIC CHILDREN CAN EVER DO! 😆😆😂😂😂😂 😑😒
The two books Shri Ramana recommends was Ribu Geeta and Devikalotrram. Thanks sharing for this book definitely will read it .
I believe it's best to get people on the path is to make them understand everything comes from nothing and shiva means that witch is not or better known as God of the highest high
Almost like a magic trick, maybe just magic. Watching your video while I should be working. I fall out of jiver into the other side and everything just shines. 🙏 Thank you
Jeever lol 😂 thank you for the chuckle.
Those seven verses are Very similar to Ain Soph Aur from the Kabbalah
As I said somewhere else, quran, bible, gitas... that's just plain poetry !
Our self-importance is grasping blindly at the light, dangerous !
I have been listening to so many of these videos that i have lost interest in the things of life that others might find fascinating. But i still have to work to pay the bills. I am finding it difficult to balance the jiva with the pull of shiva. Anyone else in such a state? How do you manage?
Am going through the same conundrum. Waiting for a guru to guide ahead
Stay focused, relax and enjoy every day, the universe will provide what you need at the right time. Much love ❤
There is no seperation between spiritual life and worldly life, this is also a distinction made in the mind in reality it is all a play of divine consciousness. Look into Kashmir shaivism.
@@viktorvaughn1079 thanks Viktor.
Ultimately it comes down to letting go of all ideas and concepts and still living life to the full. Do everything that needs to be done with full attention without thinking about the result. Don't get lost in mental constructs. Thinking that the world is an illusion is a concept, just like thinking that the world is real. No matter how beautiful and wise texts are, they quickly become mental constructions, a belief. That can certainly be useful, but that too must be let go. Continue to do the things that need to be done with full attention. To be or not to be is the question, to be the solution.
Ohm Namah Shivaya ❤🙏
Tat twam asi, I am that.🙏
the self-relative nature of consciousness means that consciousness creates itself out of itself...
I see it more as a cocreation between the choices we make and the response of the Cosmos in whatever manner that entails.
Thank you for sharing this information ❤
Thank you
People run from this Truth, for when one knows this they are acutely aware of all the harm/suffering/perturbations that they have created. Hence, their lives are spent running away from themselves. This Truth becomes apparent when we 'pass', so it's best to deal with that asap 🙂
Namaste 🙏
Thank you Jason. 💖🙏🕉
Thanks for video! What song are you using?
Shiva and the Brahmins will only get you so far. To totally and utterly end suffering, to end the cycle of re-birth and re-death, to cut off the defilements that prevent us from seeing ultimately reality and to end ones kamma once and for all, the Buddha’s Dhamma is the ultimate path to total liberation.
When I was between a baby and a toddler, I was sitting right on this razer edge awareness, physical existence or nothing at all (space-time-matter less), in my mind up until today these two cannot mix or be mixed... I have observed over the years that people like Albert Einstein or Georg Cantor had tried to mix or merge the concept of it and ended up, one died of a broken heart and the other in a mad house... Is "Brahman" the Mix ? Well, it is beyond my imagination and idea or conception and logic ... A lot of wind and words around, but, I don't go for words and wind, and logic has been found mathematically to be not the The Absolute Truth, even though the human beings love to think of it as noble ideals and all human cultures have invented systems of living life from it....
I Am, Because You Are.
And we are all together
❤ great video
Beautiful, you and i are one 🩷
Brilliant. I have only heard the first passage and I needed to pause and respond with this modern interpretation that I am about to give. God is all that exists. God is existence. Nothing exists that is not god. This simplified saying is aimed at all humanity and the only part that is interchangeable is the word God for instance Brahman is all that exists. I use the word God as it is a word that is familiar to everyone. Science also concurs that everything that exists is all made from the same stuff. Making sense of nonsense by Raymond Moody is not what it is and isn't supposed to be. It is the only book of its kind in existence that in of itself should be reason enough to read it. We are, after all, in the 21st century, and enlightenment is being delivered in 21st-century fashion. ❤️🙏RW
Sounds akin to Koranic metaphysics.
It's all hypothetical to me. Carry On.
Har Har Mahadev
🙏yes!
Scaruffi Principle : history of knowledge
Chapter 0 of Bhagavad Gita.
I was 17 I guess when I first hear about this from one of my uncle and he immediately warned me not to study it, it may either make me a vairagi or atheist
Isvara gita
❤
Easy read would be Autobiography of a Yogi 😊
well... not anymore
Ashtavakara Gita?
That's what I was thinking!
Yes my brother truth is we are the same as that witch is not as Shiva it can happen in a twinkle of the eye
Dear Sir, why must mortals want godly power and formlessness and gods and the formless crave what we are? when you find the middle path of that paradox, you will understand God and true life.
Shiv is formless God but man u see in yogic posture is mahadev a yogi warriors, god of god or vishnu avtar, first prophet of world
❤❤❤

What is Brahman?
You will know very soon
Physicist are coming to the same conclusion now.
Its all like it is its real and its a game
He is playing with everything everything you see is him and his tools and toys we are doing thing as him in him whit him. You have two voices in your head one him one you your job is to jump in to his seat in your mind and merge with it as a alchemic process of mind and body time is short get to work or you might need to do it over again to move up. Remember its a game. You move up through to your mind. I wonder what's next?
Ishwara Gita is not a secret book . U can read it even if you are not enlightenment, because it is aids your path to enlightenment.
Abraham faith are malecha religion read bhavishya puran
More conteplation, less books. Aldo I think that you are doind a good deed. But stll logical.
Free from all dualitues.
As nothing is enless possibilities.
Spoiler alert: if a text is presented on RUclips, and it even has a printed English translation, it is not a secret.😂😂😂
Ewwwwww SECRET text. Damn let me watch and wake up from it. Thank you.
So many gitas 😅
So dont talk about it.
I think the eastern philosophies loose ground to Abrahmic philosophy because the former is very confusing than the later. Although the claims of later has never been verified by any Humans
Abrahamic is childish, imaginary powerful super being who created everything and who gets angry if anyone doesn't believe in him.
To know what is God, answer is in East..
Im a science guy, always was agnostic .. but after learning what the ancient wise people said .. it's wow ! .. found what they meant by God ( not a powerful dude up there)
@@shaktiggI couldn’t agree more 🤗After recently digging deeper into Buddhist philosophy it really struck me how Christianity is so simplistic & childish - Additionally only slightly more mature Judaism & Islam
The Oneness- The intelligent energy which is the Cosmos - We are all versions of that 😊
On the other hand, Eastern religions don't make God into a terrorist who threatens you with eternal torture if you disobey him. Control through fear - it's a bit like worshipping Osama Bin Laden if you ask me.
Bible is a compilation of provable lies and plagiarisms from others teachings, not a small measure from vedic .
In “Bhagavad Gita As It Is” book it says Sri Krsna is the biggest lord of all. Even i do believe and worship lord shiva but the book says lord Shiva is below Lord Krsna. Which book to believe 🤔 so confusing 🫤
Mark my words “Believe in yourself be humble” you’ll rise 🙏
Krishna is the reincarnation of Lord Vishnu, so Krishna consciousness came way after, even after Ram.
@@julienicks8691 yeah that’s right, and according to the B.G As It Is it was said Lord Krsna is the Supreme Godhead.
I am sorry but i need to criticize you here. It is understandable that from the POV of western logic understanding you always need a book in print to understand things. How ever you may read as much as you want and would never come close to be one with Shiva. If you have ever read Shri M's "Apprenticed to a yogi" you would come across a very learned monk of Shankaracharya sect. He read everything he could read and said to the Guru of Shri M. that he still has not attained enlightment. To become one with Shiva is to meditate on him and when its time Shiva Himself holds you and draws you to Him. That my dear brother is the truth. You become Shivom one with Shiva.
Are you not ashamed to meditate?
Avadhuta gita.
@@dna1435 touch of madness here. With Shiva you have to let go of your ego and persona. Shame, anger, pride, cowardice feelings are unnecessary clothings that you wrap on yourself.
Indeed
Though I don’t disagree with what you are saying, as a westerner who’s achieved enlightenment I can assure you that there are many paths to get here. Yes, it’s not conceptual and you will never be able to achieve it through the mind or by using logic, which can be the misconception when trying to conceptualize philosophical texts. It’s an internal practice that requires you to release all of that in which you’re not, to drop the identity structures which may be easier for some through means such as meditation, but it’s not necessary. The practice is just a tool and like many tools each have their time and place. For others, they may simply touch on something in some form of text that can create the immediate shift, this is why it’s a pathless path to enlightenment, it will be different for all and there’s no one right way to get there (even though we’re all already there, we just don’t know it, which is why we have to drop that in which we’re not in order to see what we are).
