    you could lessen your stress with a crusader...
    if you give him the ancestral scroll instead of the vestal.
    also, if you have the crusader at rank 3 and man at arms at rank 2, you can create a combo between rampart and holy lance. You can just put bounty hunter up front and run him uppercut instead of flashbang while the rest of his skills stays the same.

    I do a voice over in this video, and that is why things may be called early or sound more static. I did this so I could analyze my reasoning while still moving at a quick speed. Thank you for watching and have a great weekend!

      I'm glad! Going from veteran to champion is a shock to the system. I've lost many 5s and 6s in my first run through because of new special units and the damage some enemies can do.

    I think it's a really good idea to show which order of enemy you prioritise and why. I never know whether to go for the Bone Bearer or Lancers for instance, so that's great

    • @HiDdeNSQuiDZGaming
      @HiDdeNSQuiDZGaming  5 лет назад +2

      Really depends on your line up. If you don't have a single stun you may want to kill the lancer in this situation because the bone bearer doesn't do too much damage directly.

      @@HiDdeNSQuiDZGaming True. Though he can be a menace if left alive as he starts reviving/summoning enemies. It's a tough call. I do like my Vestal to have stun though.

      Yes, I think the vestal stun outside of her heal abilities is one of her most crucial.

    i just started playing DD 2-3 weeks ago... so i might not be able to say or give any advice for certain and some ppls might have already say the same or even better team comp/tactics but i still want to share something from my own experience...
    in ruins, at veteran or lower level can easily beat them with pure damage but at champion level i tried this team comp MANY times and it work out really well for me (explore every rooms , fight every battle , hp above 50% and stress lower than 50 for most of the time , no need to use fire wood to camp until explored everything or finished the quest then use fire wood just for stress heal before exist the dungeon)
    my team comp for ruin is 1.cru 2.abo 3.ves 4.PD
    battle phase (3-4 enemies alive) : abo and PD for either blight or stun , cru and ves for stun
    stalling phase (1-2 enemies alive) : abo either self heal/stress heal or stun , PD for blight (it still count as dealing damage so they cant call reinforcement) , cru for stress heal and ves for healing
    with this team comp i dont have to worry much about enemies prot and good at dealing damage to backline enemies (dangerous enemies in ruin usually in rank 3 or 4) and this team comp also a good counter against bone bearer because i dont have to focus on him but blight or stun the other enemies to death instead which will give a good 2-3 rounds of free heal/stress heal after other enemies get blighted to death and leave bone bearer alone
    this team comp also quite good in cove too (not that great but still good enough)
    but might have to switch or change a few things like occ instead of ves and put him in rank 2 so he can use powerful stun , PD with 1 skill slot to cure bleed/blight , change trinkets , etc. but i have only tried this team comp in cove a few times and can have a rough fight against certain enemy team so think or play carefully with this team comp in cove and better use fire wood when party is in bad shape or after a really bad rng fight

    Good video, i like how you have a well planned strategy on team composition, skills and trinckets. For example y have never played with a MMA with high dodge instead of protection, and without a guard.

    • @HiDdeNSQuiDZGaming
      @HiDdeNSQuiDZGaming  5 лет назад +1

      Yeah the high Dodge is really nice because it allows him to riposte and Mark himself, and then he draws out the attacks. I quite liked that in this line up and thank you!

    @Squid having just gotten some hero's to level 5 again I am going to start doing some champion runs this weekend. Can you make a few videos on champion runs, how you use synergy and trinkets in party composition and how you advise us (doing champion runs for the first time) what amount of provisions to take? Thanks for this video it was both a fun watch and a godsend for us newbies :).

    Do you have any hero party suggestion for Weald?
    I feel like you need absolutely everything for Weald: You need really high speed, accuracy, dodge, hp, stress recovery, damage for that area. And I just can't have all of that.
    Speed - because of dogs, witches,
    Accuracy - because of very high dodge: witches, hateful viragos, madmans
    Dodge - because of giants or pretty much everything in weald that put so much debuffs, markers, bleed, poison, run crushing diseases
    Hp - giants that can 1 shot you, mushroom guys who use rend the marked heroes attack
    Stress recovery - witches that always spawn in stealth mode, madmans, ghouls
    Damage - because of high hp giants, high protection mushroom guys, hateful viragos
    Weald feels really unbalanced for me that hit you with everything and there is always something you lack to prevent unnecessary damage/stress. A lot worse than Cove for my opinion

      @sandroguzelj1234 5 лет назад +4

      honestly i just bleed that place to death. jester houndmaster manatarms and occultist ( bonus vs eldritch)

    • @HiDdeNSQuiDZGaming
      @HiDdeNSQuiDZGaming  5 лет назад

      @1God1Fury The weald is by far the hardest area in the champion level. What I will say is the giants will critically strike you on occasion and there really is no way around that in most situations. Without the dlcs, bleed, high level blight chances, and good stuns are ways to get around some of the damage. The hellion and plague doctor are great choices for stuns and bleeds/blights. If you have the shield breaker dlc she is great for getting through most of the high protection enemies. Hound masters are also a great choice for scouting, stress reduction, and bleed.
      Also you do need at the minimum a strong healer (an occultist or vestal). I will occasionally bring in a more damage oriented jester, but I keep him in the third so he can bleed DOT or battle ballad to get through those higher dodges.

    • @skyisclear8461
      @skyisclear8461 5 лет назад +3

      My solution: don't go to the Weald. Unless you really need a trinket that pops up there. On Radiant or Darkest difficulties it's not so bad as you can experiment and stand to lose characters, but on Stygian it's not worth the risk. Even the final boss's trinket isn't worth the danger she poses.
      If you feel bad about missing an area out then yeah, you need to load up on anti-venom and bandages, make sure you take characters who do bleed damage and are fast. Although there are eldritch there I wouldn't take an Occultist as his heal is so inconsistent and causes bleed way too often and you will suffer bleed and blight anyway so he is likely to help kill you rather than help you. I would say Hellions (using If it Bleeds), MAA (for guard), Jesters, Houndmasters, Highwaymen and Vestals are the best. Arbelests and Bounty Hunters are also good, using mark. Dodge is useless in this area so ignore that. Speed, DoT and accuracy are most important. Also, Arbalests can clear the marks of those fungal things at the back, saving you from Rend the Marked and other big damage attacks.
      But honestly, just don't go. The Ruins are much nicer, and you get way more loot.

    hi i got question... when all party got wipes on battle.. does all our trinkets lost???

    • @HiDdeNSQuiDZGaming
      @HiDdeNSQuiDZGaming  5 лет назад +4

      It should go towards a collective 10 lost count and then you should fight something called the shrieker.

      @graceevigael8583 5 лет назад +3

      One is for a shrieker trinket and the other is to get trinkets back. It'll tell you which one it is at the mission start.
