- How to save up money easily for a house or for a new car? Learn a genius hack on how to save more money each month. As a bonus, we'll tell teach you how to safely hide your cash.
"If only I could stop spending money on stuff I don’t need, I would buy so many useful things!" Have you ever thought this? Then this video is just for you.
RULE 1: Subtract the last digit from each number to get a zero at the end. It’s easier to “zero out” cash into a piggy bank, and you may use a savings account or any other bank account to transfer the money from your card.
RULE 2: Save everything that’s left over before payday - "zero out" one more time at the end of the month. For instance, you still have $300 in cash and $1,000 in the bank - just move it to your savings account.

If you feel like you have run out of places to hide your money, try the following suggestions:
• Wrap your money in a plastic bag, and tape it to the bottom of the kitchen counter or to the bottom of your kid’s toy box (the best option is to create a false bottom in it).
• In a waterproof container stored in the lowest drawer of your refrigerator or freezer. Make sure it doesn’t read "Ice cream" or something else yummy thieves might want to try.
• Hide your savings among buttons, threads, and other sewing accessories. Unless thieves suddenly need to sew something, they most probably won’t look for your money in there.
• In a pair of old shoes, clothes, or maybe in an old computer that no longer works. Make sure it all looks like junk you have not disposed of yet.

I love your comment about rounding up the money. I wished to save up to get my home decorated. So i saved in a pattern like 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 up to 30 per day and then back down to 1 again. It made the right amount of money. I wished to pay off my mortgage so i set rewards. Then I was able to do over payments of up to 500 per month without fees. At the moment I save 750 per month. I already have a regular saver with 3600 in it.
Great saving tips. I recently did a savings challenge and was able to save $1300 a month by cutting down my monthly bills and "frivolous" spending. Keep up the good work!!!

First half was okay. The last half was dumb and completely unrelated. Keeping money in the bank just makes it into a slush fund, unless you structure the money and make it difficult to access. First time you hit a tight spot, it is too easy to move it out of savings and spend it. Done that a million times.
Stop saving money, start investing! Dollar bills are worthless, fancy pieces of paper that are not backed by anything tangible. Buy assets, things that will appreciate in value or that will put your money to work to make more money for you. Things like physical gold and silver, stocks, bonds, real estate, art, anything that you can buy low and sell at a higher price.
By saving and hoarding cash, you are actually losing money because of certain economic factors such as inflation.

Some are saving for retirement (bad idea) and others to purchase liabilities or to travel which is fine, but it makes more sense to save up for a profit producing asset that will help fund your liabilities and expenses rather than using your only source of fixed income which is your pay check. I’m saving money for a trip to visit my girlfriend (long distance relationship) and a MacBook Pro laptop. Trip is gonna be 1000$-1500$ and the laptop will be 1957$ tax included (I went to the store and asked how much the laptop is including taxes and that’s what I was told). I made a false bottom in my drawer to keep unspent cash, there is a hole in the bottom that can push the false bottom upwards so I can open it. I usually use a pen to push it up

Burying it in the backyard was genius actually. I don’t have any pets. I would bury it on the dead of night away from prying neighbors plus my house is pretty fenced in so there’s no way they could’ve looked anyway. And as far as rain and other environmental factors. The cash would be in a plastic waterproof bag and the bag in a relatively small Locked metal box or safe. Literally any environmental concerns can be dealt with depending on what material you bury it in. Unless they shot you, (and even then someone who heard it might still call the police) thieves are most likely gonna be pressed for time so digging up the backyard won’t even occur to them and even if it did it could take ages to figure out where exactly in the backyard it was buried. So it seems perfect to me🤷🏾♀️ 👌🏾
