Top video 🤙 also a good comparison of 33’s ifs lockers and 35 solid no lockers. I’m sure this appealed to many 4 wheelers starting out and working out what they do and don’t need for their vehicle. Love your work Tyler
Fantastic video and shows the track exactly like it is. I think you're right. The last rockstep getting out of there definitely has gotten a bit more challenging in recent months. Just a further mention. Tyler was the inspiration for us to go and visit this place. Onya mate. Keep the content coming we love watching you. P.S. I took Issacs line out but almost hit that tree on the way down hahaha
Another good video Tyler. You are right about the tracks looking much easier than they actually are. I've got front and rear dash cams that are going all the time, and when I look at the footage, it's as boring as bat shit, so I dont even bother looking now. and with the cameras being inside, you don't even get the sound efects.
Hey Tyler, I’ve been watching a few different vids of the D23 Nav, as I’m thinking of upgrading from my D40. 1 thing most users say is the biggest annoyance is the lower radiator hose rubbing on a pulley & belt, thus causing a possible serious hose blow out when u least need it to happen. Have u experienced and if so, how did u rectify it? Seems like some ppl have overboard on the mod’s, with their late model Nav’s and that has led to big headaches.
Nice quick video mate, good to have these in between your longer episodes. How do you reckon a stock MUX with some all terrains would go getting down and back?
Please remember when you come here take your shit home with you. Just about every time i go there i'm picking up dead camping gear and general rubbish. It's my local track and i really don't wont to see it closed down.
Trend, but its practical in that theres less debris and water ingress into the air box from forward movement or vehicles in front throwing stuff at you
In terms of air flow pseudo science.. Theres all sorts of debates.. The brunt of it is that the loss (if any) of a rear facing snorkel in terms of air flow compared to a ram head is negligible in the sense that a true ram head needs significantly more speed than a 4wd to be effective.. we're talking more than 200kmh etc.. Considering most 4wds live under 110km it's not much difference forward or rear facing. The only real benefit is that you won't get mud down the snorkel if that was likely an issue for you, and then going past the airbox and into the turbo etc.. Other than it looks cool and sounds whistle whistle (sometimes annoying for the driver or passenger with the window down) there's no real benefit.. Plus they dent way easier than plastic snorkels. Each to their own though if you like it you like it, if you don't you don't.
@@DeejayManii Considering the car doesn't have lungs and it draws from the ambient atmosphere in a constant repeated cycle, your point, if I would even call it that is invalid. The counter to your pointless argument would be that its pointing away and while the car moves forward the air won't go into the intake because its flowing past, which is also incorrect and just as stupid as your comment.A snorkel is going to draw air irregardless of which way its pointing, the only difference is catching stuff in the entry point and how many impediments/bends the air pressure has to fight against.
I appreciate your level headed commentary and not trying to be over the top with anything, just telling how it is, subbed for sure 👍
Thanks mate!
Mcbrides track is sick I absolutely loved it. I was surprised my rc Colorado with 2” lift and 32’s did the main track with no dramas.
So sad I’ won’t be able to drive it, all these videos getting me g’d up to explore the place I’ve grown up around finally
Yep not good
Crackin vid. That hole near the tree is getting bigger. So stoaked when I drove it easily with my camper trailer in tow. Such a great spot.
Do you need a permit or anything to get there? And is fishing any good there? If you have fished..
Cheers.
Thanks mate, seen a few people fishing there and don't need a permit
Great Vid mate, just one thing: Please fix the Spare wheel Chain under the bed to something it drives me nuts 😂😂

Definitely mate, thank you!
Man I just got back from McBrides yesterday, love the spot and ive been twice now. Awesome vid and content. love ya work man!
Thanks mate!
Cracking drone footage looking forward to the review of the ranger 👍🏴
Thanks 👍

Awesome footage bro. All time 🤘🤘🤘

Hey mate, Ive never heard of that issue to be honest. Main issue I hear of is the rear main seal going in D23's, they normally cover it under warranty
Don’t forget the arogard
4” rear & 3” front? Surely got that mixed up
Compenensates for the weight
@@isaaccorbino7524 yeah true steel tray plus canopy
My dads Hilux has a 2inch lift rear and 1 inch lift front because he carries a lot of weight in the rear for his work.
whos gq is that in the background
Good video buddy 👍👍👍
Nice quick video mate, good to have these in between your longer episodes. How do you reckon a stock MUX with some all terrains would go getting down and back?
Depends on the driver
Its not hard bro i went down in a stock np300 with 20inch rims and shitty all terrains... just take the right tracks
One of his earlier vids, his dad took the MUX down I'm pretty sure. From memory the track hasn't changed much
I reckon its harder now then it used to be i did it last weekend and also did it couple years ago and a few locals said its alot worse now to
Please remember when you come here take your shit home with you. Just about every time i go there i'm picking up dead camping gear and general rubbish. It's my local track and i really don't wont to see it closed down.
I need to get the 200 up there. Cheers Steve
Went do that bad boy in a stock np300 no problem
I doubt McBrides will ever reopen again to 4WD's. I've been keen for a while to do it. Bugger!
Yep not good!
No lockers at 8:33?
Front locker was off, turned it back on after he struggled on that bit
Another top vid... Ok. Regarding the snorkels being reversed.... Is this just a trend or practical... Cheers

@@Nick-sd7um well considering you’re not going into a river crossing or bog hole at 110kp/h I think the reverse would be quite effective

Would love to see the Nav tackle that track.
Got a video with the nav on that track in about a month
Broke my steering rack coming back up
Where's the nav fun?
Such fun truck but. But what?
❤️😍
First
very nice rig, terrible choice of football team
Cheers mate! I don’t even follow soccer ahah
Ranger a long way from road worhty
@@isaaccorbino7524 No mud guard no mud flaps tyres stick out past front guards and obscured p plates
This car is illegal, how about getting some flares before you throw a stone through someones car on the road?
You'd better have a ticket book with a lot of tickets in it because you see it daily.
