Diamond Head are an English heavy metal band formed in 1976 in Stourbridge, England. The band is recognised as one of the leading members of the new wave of British heavy metal movement and is acknowledged by thrash metal bands such as Metallica and Megadeth as an important early influence. With 7 studio and 5 live albums under their belt and numerous world-wide tours, the NWOBHM Titans are now getting ready to release their 8th studio offering set for release in 2019 which will see them hit the road around Europe and beyond.
Diamond Head are: Brian Tatler (guitars), Rasmus Bom Andersen (vocals), Karl Wilcox (drums), Dean Ashton (bass), Abbz (guitars).

I like how he doesn't overuse his range like most pop and metal singers do.
dude, i'll have to disagree: i do think he's a brilliant signer (though i still miss Sean Harris), but sometimes i feel like people keep telling him, 'You're great, you're awesome', and so he likes to be all over the place with his vocal lines and ideas. however, i enjoy his range most of the time and do believe DH's new album's the best thing they've done since 'Borrowed Time'. so more power to the band!

Sounds a bit too much like Soundgarden song (mostly in the vocals). They (SG) are absolutely one of my favorite bands, and Rasmus is no question amazing, but I would hope that musically it would elevate the song higher.
The ghost of Chris Cornell
listened to a few tracks now, Its good. Unfortunately it will be likened to Cornell, vocally. I feel that will overshadow the rest of the album.

I miss vocalist Sean Harris. Ras sounds so much like Chris Cornell, it's odd.
And Sean sounded like Mr. Robert Plant at times, just sayin'!

Which previous singer? You should specify. The one that moved to Australia, or the one that was original but will never be back? You can prefer all you want, but why not judge based on NOW, not 40 years ago.
It's just one of those things. It can't happen with Sean, so we get this, new life in the band. He's got a voice and range, and he's obviously pushed the guys to further DH's career. I was very bitter about them replacing Sean for years, but I grew to understand and accept it.
This new guy is becoming on my favorite metal vocalists ever.
Fuck me sideways, this whole album just nails it from beginning to end. Got the vinyl in the post. That singer's got some sodding pipes on him too
