@@TudorBaba I've been doing post production for over 25 years now using many different tools! Been 'dabbling' myself with resolve for certain projects a couple of years now, but have people at my company been using it for many many years, even before Blackmagic bought it.

Awesome tutorial so far! One question though, where did you get the splash image effect you're putting in the background? I can't seem to find a way to create that before i put the text in.

Hi Tudor Baba, I saw you are using an Apple M1 MacBook Air. what are the specs? which one is best for D.R thx 4 the vid.
M1 MacBook Air with 16 Gb unified memory and 512 Gb of storage. For what I’m doing it’s perfect. The best Apple machine to edit in Resolve is Mac Studio but it’s expensive and could be overkill. What are your requirements? What videos are you doing and how many? If you are on the budget I recommend the Mac Mini with M1 or MacBook Air with M2. Maybe you can try them and if it’s not enough you can return and buy something more expensive. MacBooks with M1 Pro or Pro Max are awesome too. Please let me know, maybe I can help. Personally I’m not concerned about the internal storage because I own a Synology NAS with 8 terra of storage in Raid.

@@TudorBaba Studio version on a PC I built - no Speed Editor though. I would have one if I was doing this full time - but unfortunately, I have to spend too much time running my business 🤣

@@TudorBaba I need help. I am a Resolve novice but I like the node tree when color grading. The problem is, that I apply the grade on the 3-4 clips and then disable the grades to speed up the editing (mostly cuts, adding text, adding masks) because of an older computer. So after finishing with the editing I have 150+ cuts/clips and now I need to re-enable the nodes on all clips. Is there a way to enable all the nodes on all clips or I need to enable one by one? Thank you.

Instead of Colors tab , I will get changed/stroked background still image via Photopea and place it
In Resolve you always have multiple ways to achieve the same result ✌️

There is actually a faster way to do the mask with the magic mask, one click and it is set.
You are completely right. I used this way for the users that are using the free version, not Studio. For how long are you using Resolve?

when I draw the mask, all my clip is Black in timeline in the edit page.
I need a help.
@@IsmaelBADAROU-b4p make sure in the color page you added the Alpha layer and the blue dots are connected. If you follow the tutorial step by step should be fine. What version of Resolve are you using? Maybe I should recreate this tutorial using Resolve 19. Now I know a faster way to achieve this effect!
@@TudorBaba i have resolve 19. I convert to alpha and I connect the blue dots. Finally , I found another method with fusion page.

Make sure you have the correct clip selected. If you watch your edit, is there another clip that was made black and white?
