C-Terry and DJ TLM are my two favorite youtubers, it's all about knowledge, sharing the knowledge, and the best professional DJ advice out there. Thank you, Terry!
Thanks for sharing how you run everything. I've been trying my best to get my home setup going but have been dealing with grounding and feedback nightmares. I'll get to it sooner than later. Its dope to see everyone's process. Blessings!!
I spent hours and hours making my DJ overlays perfect, it’s obvious, but if I want people to stay on my stream for a long time, it has to look nice and not cluttered. Thank for you the tips!! Really help me out.
1000% Please Please Please show more of how to edit in Final Cut Pro..I use it and I'm learning it pretty quick but would like to see a tutorial from a DJ....This info was a great start tho!
damn this is a bad ass studio set up bro! Big props for everything you do, really appreciate you showing your work areas and explaining the set up and the accessories. You just earned yet ANOTHER "Thumbs Up" for all the time you take editing videos and stuff. Keep up the great work and stay humble my friend.
I miss using FCP, I even used to be a certified Final Cut Pro editor and used to teach basic classes back in my home town. Unfortunately it has been several years since I last touched it and switched from the Mac to Windows. One tip for you, not sure if it still works but you could do an audio slate possibly thru Serato or Rekordbox and have it play out the speaker and sync up the sound that way. That is how we used to do it back when I was an audio engineer. Almost any sharp sound should suffice.
Outstanding information SIR. Greatly appreciated. I have TOO started to dive more into the the recording because my Bar is currently closed. So I'm trying to stay afloat and keep my IG followers happy with music. You gave me some monster ideas. Just cant understand why anyone would Dis LIKE this video. OH well. BIG TIME THUMPS up for me thank you.
I really appreciate your videos! Do you think you can do a video on music? How do you keep up with the latest music, keep up with the different genre of music? Like you mentioned EDM the other day. I didn't know what that was or house music? When and where do you usually run into people where you have to play house and EDM? If you can , a video on this would be really nice.
so much work to record a dj set, let alone perform the set! haha. The little nugget I got from this is to try to align the stop recording on separate devices. thanks
When you do the screen recording, does that record only visual or visual and audio as well? Or does the audio recording comes from Serato. Love the set up ttb studio!!! Have you ever done videos on podcasting?
Wow dude that was a great video but you missed telling what the boxes do after selecting Quicktime "New Screen Recording." I'm sure i can type it in You Tube and someone can explain it but... You pretty much saved my butt and time trying to figure out how to do just what you showed. I saved my C Stands and other hardware I ran when I did amateur film and editing but I used Final Cut's last version before the new one and saved my Mac Pro desktop to run that program. I'm not to thrilled about the new Final Cut because I fiddled a lot with the audio tracks on the old version and hear the new one has certain functions eliminated and I also don't have another $300 bucks to buy the new Final Cut. I was an Apple freak before they came up with the new version of Final Cut but like you, I also am taking this virus opportunity to reacquaint myself with my faithful old Final Cut version and somehow connect the Macbook Pro to capture the whole screen and then edit them using multiple cameras I kept and (like you) blend one video but on the older Final Cut. I'm going to go find out what the box means and see if Catalina will work for me because I'm on Mojave and get tired of all these new versions, its why I got upset when Apple made the older Final Cut non compatible with the "new" version so.. I may just upgrade to Catalina and hopefully put a stop to it after that. Apple just wants you to upgrade till your HD is full and then what? Get a bigger internal HD! New laptop! then turn such and such non compatible with this and that? Come on APPLE! Enough! Right? Thanks for the video, really helped.
Aloha Mario You mean all the different option boxes? They all do the same thing. One says record the whole screen, another says capture selected screen if you have multi screens and then the one I use which allows manual selection.
Love your Videos! In order to sync the Serato overlays, did you try to record audio from your internal mic along with the screen capture? All you you need to do is click "options" and select "Built-in Input" from the "Microphone" section. Cheers from Boogie-Down-Berlin, Germany , DJ Bigg-O
Hi, May I know what you use for the Overhead Rig/Mount for your camera that's above your DJ setup? Also, is there an Amazon link to the Overhead Rig/Mount. Thank you.
Cleveland Terry ...with mevo there is a record option as well but not in the way your using it...this was only a suggestion for those like me are not cam savvy...JULIE are the man
Maaannn.... gwan like the djs are taking over the internet. Seems like everyone is letting off steam. I lost a gig/concert.... Shenseea...smh... guess it's more quality time. 🤦🏿♂️

If you want to do it right...or higher in assistant that can change cams.
Awesome tutorial Terry. I believe this can also be accomplished with OBS ✌🏾
I literally just installed obs. If it’s a better choice I’ll post another video.

16 MacBook Pro. It’s a monster.
i use I movie for my video editing .I would like to have final cut pro.
It’s a great program. If you like iMovie you’ll love final cut.
If you are a student you can get a significant discount through apple.
@@shawnden-w2w sadly those days are long gone
Hey brother can you make a video, about editing videos with Final Cut Pro
That’s a different animal all together.

Hmm. For me, QuickTime only allows one or the other. Although saying that I haven’t checked in Caatalina. Guess I should do that.

@@ClevelandTerry: Hi, I tried looking it up but I couldn't find it. Would you be kind enough to specify which overhead mount/stand you use? Thank you.
I watched and was lost - I know perhaps a mevo cam might be a workaround but with not as much as your doing.. mevo is part of live-stream..
This isn’t suppose to be a live stream video. However software like OBS can accomplish that.
Cleveland Terry ...with mevo there is a record option as well but not in the way your using it...this was only a suggestion for those like me are not cam savvy...JULIE are the man
Sorry type o --you are the man
That bass makes my think Eric Cartman was right
Rekord.cloud is so much better then rekordbuddy. Highly recommend it.
all this free time..why not go live?
Maybe I will.
